The Quest to Past it Forward Continues
Wow, I have hit the 6,000 mark in terms of followers. Could never imagine being a part of a 6,000 network of individuals around the world and because of my main physical activity I already knew people around the world from clinics and competitions.
When I first joined Wealthy Affiliate (WA) my question was why I needed to follow anyone or have others follow me. The answer to this was quickly answered when I got stuck on inserting HTML code for something we had to do or was it developing a site map for Google plus? I forget now, but I do not forget the individual, who did not know me from Adam, who not only reached out to give me a hand but sat patiently encouraging me and where necessary rolled up sleeves and showed me how to complete the task. There has been others over the years, including Kyle who have offered to “Pay It Forward,” without whom I might still be on course two of the Certification Courses. Names that readily come to mind are The Teddy Bear Chris Scott, Loes, Marion Black and Patsy. The first person however that offered a stranger help was PJ Germain. You as members of WA, demonstrated and continue to demonstrate what it means to be part of a community and I thank you.
To all of you, thank you so much for making this journey, not only rewarding in terms of learning, meeting new friends and creating my online presence, but also answering my original question “why do I need to follow or have others follow me.” The answer in my view is that this is a community of sharing, caring and paying it forward. When we speak of Global Villages, WA is living proof.
So to all my followers out there, new and not so new, I am here and willing to “Pay forward,” what I have learned. For me the reason why is it is the right thing to do and it is FUN.

Nothing wrong with being emotional. It is a great way of expressing ourselves. Chatting is always a good thing. I do remember two trips through the Sudbury area by car. It is not a short trip, but definitely rewarding in terms of experiencing Ontario’s north.
Hi Harvey, reading your post brought back memories of starting out and realizing all the help we had and always will have.
It's not too bad up here but I won't stay forever, not for my future retirement :)
I am sure it has improved since my last visit, but it is not a place I would want to retire either.
Anyone who leaves, never return!
Family visits and that's it.
I was gone for 14yrs and came back knowing I was going to become a Grandmother and my parents although very healthy and active are aging, both are 87.
Now I want to leave again, but won't go as far away.
We always return to the scene of the crime, unless growing up was a really bad experience. Great to have both parents still around and in relative good shape. Both mine have passed on, but still in memory.
The beauty of today is the world is within easy access, just need the money.

Thanks Frank, lol, bad habits from a former life plus a very stubborn streak. Giving up is not an option.
Remember Tom it is not the destination (which we all want to get to), but it is the journey that makes it all rewarding.
