SWAG - Month Two, The Challenge Continues
As I read over some of my colleagues blogs on month one and where they are in terms of completing the tasks or plodding along, it reminded me of the Moral of the children’s story of the Turtle (Toitoise) and the Hare “The race is not for the swift, but for those that endure.”
Month two is no less challenging from that of month one, so we have our Marching orders from Kyle. What I found challenging in month one was definitely the content writing. Not so much the content itself, because once I get rolling that seems to run. It was the keyword and content research. In month two Kyle has shared with us his approach to these two areas and I must admit that in just reading it I know I have learned a new way of approaching these two areas and have already started to use it. What about my fellow SWAGs have you been using the same approach as Kyle or is this new?
I also just read Carson’s blog on the new blog platform, so I thought I would take it for a spin. What can I say but thank you Carson and Kyle. This really does make writing a blog easier and I love the cover image.

It does get easier with time Thomas and like everything else there are short cuts to completing the tasks.
Hi Harvey,
My methods for writing posts can use a lot of improvement. The idea of dictating through Dragon sounds intriguing because my typing speed is not very fast and correcting so many typing errors is very time consuming. I will check on these voice to print programs.
I alway try to organize a "template" with standard areas I am going to cover. But his teaching is the best way.
Bill
That is great Bill, I think it is worth a try at least. So far It seems to be working well. Found some keywords, now to move them over to SiteContent and put some headings to the topic.

Not fully following you Denzel. Are you talking about followers on WA or people making comments?
I'm very interested in trying Kyle's method of writing an article. It sounds so interesting and simple. Like why had I never thought of that before.
I love the new blog platform. A combination of SiteContent and the blog platform. I love it. Those guys have done it again!!!
Tried and true
Elaine
I have 2 keywords so far of the 30 required. I AM making progress with live chat this time though. I set the timer on my smartphone to 20 minutes and stay on chat until it tells me I’m done. That might not be the best way, but it’s working for me. :-)
Grant
Hi Harvey, thanks for the post. I to have been struggling with the keyword and content research. Especially the time element. I definitely am going to give Kyle's method a try. He has given us some really great stuff to try out in month two. :-) Frank
Hi Frank,
I have been struggling for 2 years with keyword and still not doing it right. Will take a run at it again and try out Kyle's method.
Thanks.
Roger
Hi Roger, I tried out Kyle's keyword method, and I found 13 that I think will be good for me in a very short time. Give it a try, and see how it works out for you. Wish you luck. :-) Frank
It really takes the work out of blogging, just like writing content on the Site Content site.
