Perception and Reality
The other day I accepted an offer from a fellow Wealthy Affiliate (WA) member. I had seen this member's name everyday, because he is a part of my network. Most of the time he blogs in a humorous way and I just took it for someone who might be nervous, like I am about writing/blogging personal situations (perception). After linking with Chris Scott, aka Teddy Bear, I got to meet the real person. Not only did he deliver on the promise he made and gave me access to a Pluggin, but he spent a considerable amount of time helping me improve my website (reality). The man really lives up to his moniker. He really is a living Teddy Bear. All this to say thanks Chris for taking so much time out of your own busy day to help a fellow WAer. To my fellow WAers reality is always better than perception. Get to know the real person, it is always worth the effort

I very much enjoyed meeting you too, Harvey. If I had known you had taught Karate for 40 years I would have said "sir"instead of "Harvey." lol
40 years...you must have started teaching when you were 5 years old.
Thanks Chris, but sir sounds so formal and stuck up. I wish I had started around five I would be so much better than I am currently. I started when I was 21, that should give you a clue to how old I am. Take care, and I am glad you found your friend Tim.
Thank you for sharing this. Though I haven't met Chris in person. My perception of him is already very good. And if his wife calls him a Teddy Bear, he must be one.
This is very kind of him. Yes, I have the feeling that he's a nice man.
We are lucky to be part of a great community.

This is so true Harvey. Conversation can completely change how we see each other and understand where each other is coming from. Thanks for the share!
