My Small Backyard Vegetable Garden - Organic
Do you have a green thumb or two for gardening? I always thought I have two yellow thumbs. Everything I touched turned yellow or die. Well, no more -- the key for me is to remember to water them.
It only took me 7 years on and off gardening to figure this out. I did not take the time to water my plants. I would leave them dry for days depending on mother nature (rain) to take care of my plants. How I do one thing is how I do with others...
Now, I am paying more attention to my surrounding and evironment. I appreciate every thing around me so much more. Could it be I am getting older and more sentimental? Anyway, the results are miraculous.
This year I am able to produce yummy cherry tomatoes for the very first time. I also have snap peas and bokchoy. They are delicious. I am also growing 2 different types of squash and black beans. The squash and beans won't be available until August / Sept.
It is so exciting to see the product of my labor from seeds. The key is being aware and take actions on my inspirations. Imagine what I can do when I put the similar strategy into WA.
Next action is to create compost for my garden. I can't wait to get it started.
I hope you can learn something from this post and not wait for 7 years like me to improve your goals or anything you want to do in life.

Thanks for sharing a great post, we use to grow a garden every year in our back yard, weather just turned nice to start it, I will share some pictures later when the plants grow a little bit more.
We love to have a fresh salad everyday from our garden during Summer days.
I love a nice garden, but I hate gardening. Hence I live in a flat where the grounds are tended by professional gardeners.

My husband hates gardening also. He thinks it's a Vietnamese innate culture thing... I enjoy seeing and eating the products that came from my garden. It's fresh and crunchy so far...
Thank you for stopping by and leaving me your comments.
I really like backyard vegetable productions especially when they are organic.
Not only they make me happy by seeing them in the backyard but also their nutritional value
Yes! Double benefits. I do too but sometimes I get so impatient. Now I am learning...
Thank you for your thoughts.

Hello Rania! Thank you for sharing with me your thoughts. You are totally right about the more you care for it the more beautiful it becomes. I can visualize how your beautiful your garden is...
I find it very relaxing when I tend to my garden. I used to not make the time. Now, I do no matter what. If I think of it, I do it and I enjoy it.

I love gardening, but water is so precious and expensive to buy; I still keep a few and use the grey water.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts.
I am sorry to hear that water is expensive where you live. I take for granted with water here. It's helpful to conserve. Does the grey water work ok for you? How often does it rain where you are?
