Google Index Coverage - Submitted URL has Crawl Issue

I am having a total melt down of understanding how to fix this error. I followed through the Google links to figure out what to do and the answer I read seems foreign to me. I am not sure what to do.

That link does not exist. How do I find out what website or URL is calling this link? Does any one know? I think the only way for me to fix this error is to find out where it is calling from and remove that link. I have 39 affected pages and I am not sure what to do...

Any suggestions or comments would totally be appreciated! Thank you!

It seems to be indentified and did you fix it? Would like to find out Good luck,

tom

Hello Tom,

I investigated on my issue based on everyone's recommendations. I think I found the problems. There were a few:
-- There was a glitch or a bug on my template for the website so it was always pointing to a website that never existed hence I receive the 404 error message. I found a way to resolved that issue.
-- I also found a few files that I have created no longer existed.

Here is what I used to find my broken link: I also updated my sitemap.xml.

I have not received any more error emails yet since my corrections. I have been so busy lately that I have not checked google to see if there are any more errors.

Hope I answered your question. Thanks for checking back.

Hi Haroda,

I have a training for noindex error - Give it a try to see if it solves the problem.

Another training that can help -

Thank you! I shall check it out.

Welcome my friend.

If you need further help, please reply here, and I will do my best to assist.

Sorry to hear of your problem. I would contact Site Support to see if they can help you. All the best.

Thank you! I'll keep you posted on my finding

Hey Haroda,
Maybe an image, not real sure but I believe that is what I see.

Tried and True

Elaine

Thank you, Elaine.

Looks like it might be an image you are using called slide-a-6. You should check to make sure the image is still working.

Thank you. The image is not there. Hmm... I'll check my sitemap.

As far as I understand from these screenshots, Google is trying to access

phoqueencooking/slide-a-6

and is telling you that the given page count be found in your sitemap.xml

Obviously, Google is trying to find that page based on your submitted sitemap, so I suggest to check out your sitemap to see if the given URL is included or not

And of course, if you've created that page after submitting your sitemap (without having an automatic sitemap updating feature), the given URL won't appear in your sitemap ... In this case you need to create and to submit a new sitemap with that link included ...

Thank you! I shall update. Good idea.

You're welcome!

The link to your sitemap is corrupt.
Ask site support if they can fix that for you

Once done
Resubmit sitemap to google

On bing you com up on top level
Congratulations!

Thank you!! I'll shall look at this.
