Google Index 404 error - possible solutions.

Thank you all who replied and I appreciate your wonderful suggestions!!!

So there are multiple possible problems that could cause a 404 - file not found. Here are two that I know of:

• need to update my sitemap

• possible broken link

I have updated my .xml sitemap and submitted it. It'll take a while for me to see the results when Google does it crawling.

I also found a nifty tool written by Loes from one of the blogs suggested by @triblu -- https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/training/how-to-check-and-fix-broken-link

This tool helps me check and find my broken link. It gives me the source file that is calling from so I can back track & update the source file.

I hope this will help others on the quest of solving the 404 errors.
