Any error message you encountered?

Some people encountered the site page where they wanted to leave comment or feedback refreshed itself and the page was gone. If you encountered the same problem I would believe it is something with the setting in WA.

Are you having the problem with certain sites only or all the sites.

Maybe try again later and see if the problem persists.

Thank you, Joe, just certain sites:(

It is something in my settings I believe, and I will check it out with my internet provider.

Hi Dears,

I would apprecate your thought on the following, based on your experience:

Where do you place in your strategy the free (Siterubix extentsion) sites? C

Before returning to WA, I tried my luck with paid to click programs or PTC. While browsing in there, I saw someone doing great and he said he's selling his secrets for $10 (ebook).

I checked out his link and to my surprise, it led me to a website created in a free SiteRubix site. And what impressed me more was, I saw several others selling his ebook, which means there were people who have bought his ebook via his free SiteRubix site.

While most of us think of it as "just a testing ground for a more serious project", there are people in here who are silently making money out of the free website platform.

Thank you, Gomer!

It seems like the free sites are not quite to be rejected in terms of monetarizing purposes!

Interesting. Thanks!

Right now I'm using a Siterubix site to park an old site I had a few years ago until I decide what to do with it. Alanna

Thank you Alanna!

SiteRubix should be entry level fort his operation If it works as a sandbox move to a serious paid site of your choice!

It is a perfect place to start building a website.
But it is also a perfect place for a sandbox for my WA sites. I also have sandboxes outside WA for the sites I have that are not hosted here.

Contingency smarts Jorn!

Than you, Michael!

I use the free sites for testing purpose only.
I test out themes, layouts, and things that I want to try out without messing up my live sites.
I also sometimes test out formatting posts on the free sites before transferring the content to the live sites. (When I put content on the test sites I always make sure that everything is noindex, nofollow.)

Noindex, Nofollow is a really important point. glad you pointed it out.

It's very important. You want your content to be indexed from the correct website, and you don't want to duplicate your own content

That's right! However, I never use my true content in siterubix for testing purposes so no issues there. I just cut and paste something from various sources and then do my testing - and still use Nofollow, Noindex options.

I sometimes use true content if I have a long post that I want to build a visual layout for, before going live with it.

Fair enough! For you that works, and I might try it one-day just to see if it is for me! thanx

That is one of the things that is great with this community. We all have our own ways of doing certain things, and sometimes we get tips that make us change or improve the way we work.

And we would be a bit silly if we didn't at least consider other people's ways of doing things. For me I have adopted ideas of other's at various times, it is part and parcel of learning and broadening our horizons.

Time for bed now, catch ya.

Thank you Jorn! It seems that free sites are playing rather a secondary and supportive role vs the paid domains...

Thank you Stephen, for the answer and for the important point you stressed on!

Hi Anton.
For me, I start with the siterubix domain. Then, if I am satisfied with the name I proceed to buy the domain.
I understand that the .siterubix can rank highly in google as well, but I believe purchasing a domain name reflects a more serious approach to business.
Also, I don't think we have FTP access to .siterubix domains.

David

Thank you David for the good points here! It seems like a reasonable strategy to follow!

I bought quite early in stage 2 domain names, and with evolving my websites, I would have chosen another name for them. My other website I have waited before I bought my own domain name and I am really satisfied with that name. It has changed in my head multiple times before I took the plunge.

That can be a reason too, to see where your website is heading before you pin a domain name on it.

Thank you Loes! The point taken here is not to be in a hurry to buy a domain name (if I am expeimenting with the niche), but first spend some time with the free one and see where it is going.

Site rubix is good and it works well from some sites I had seen

Thank you Gifty, for the input! The point taken here is that in some situations free sites could be monetarized well and do a good job.

I simply use them for testing at this stage. I have read that others are actually doing quite well with these sites, don't remember who, sorry.

Hello, Harizan,

I have tried so many ways to make money online and all I've ended up doing is spending my own money trying to find success. What I've done with the siterubix sites here at WA is simply, build the site up while using the training here. Once I see that traffic is coming my way and making a little money I look to buy the acutall .org or .com to give my site some credibility. The key here is that before starting with the siterubix you check to make sure the .com or .org is available.

Thank you Chris for the input!

Just to be clear about the process: when you buy the domain name, you terminate the free site and transfer all the contents created to the new domain, or the process is different?
