Back to my routine. not only here but also physically.
The schools have started again and here in the Netherlands, students from the universities and colleges are finally allowed to go again to school after at least a year and a half, mainly online home education and for many students who are in rooms that may be just as nice in the beginning, but for many it is also terribly locked in their student rooms and we have a lot of students but certainly a big shortage of student rooms and if you find a room you should not be surprised at a rent of 500 euros for a room of 8 square meters which is downright ridiculous.
In any case, my daughter is happy to be back in physical education and having her first day today, and me after a year of problems with my own health, what seemed like something minor but then culminated in almost 9 months of heavy medication to get rid of it, today is the first day that I was able to finish my first training on my bike again.
my first 10 kilometers are a fact luckily I can train indoors. I advise against cycling here in the winter with a racing bike and since we are already having a wet summer, my racing bike is safely parked in my dynamometer and from today on we will go back to my routine cycling every day.
The medication is out of my body and I have permission to exercise again so now build up again and get back in shape.
and meanwhile hard work is being done and the company is starting to take shape, unexpected steps are taken so everything starts to fit together like a puzzle again.

Are you training for a bike race or simply to get back in shape?

First to get in back shape Being able to do nothing for 9 months and feeling bad every day and noticing that medicines do not work well, so that something simple suddenly becomes a kind of fight against your own immune system. then being able to work out again is already a liberation
The Netherlands is a cycling country so there are more than enough possibilities for cycling only with a race bike in winter it is not wise here wet roads cause you to fall faster so until spring i will only cycle indoors
I'm sorry to hear about your health problems over the last nine months Hanneke, but am happy that things have improved now and are able to get back on your bike.
I feel sorry for the students there as well, €500 for an eight m square room is indeed ridiculous, but I believe that the prices are similar here too.

the biggest problem with the students here is that there are a lot more students than student rooms and there are a lot of real estate dealers who divide houses as student houses the more rooms the more money my daughter has luckily a nice landlord who charges her a reasonable price but in cities like Amsterdam, Utrecht where she lives it is really a disaster to find something that is reasonably priced

Yes it feels good this was the first time in 10 years is saw my GP for myself and it started with something simple but it became a way more when i was not responding to the medication .
So making my first drive yesterday was some of liberation
