Winning the unwinnable

Here in Australia we finished a Federal Election last night.

The Labour side had a winning margin by the polls to start of about 58 to the liberals 42 seats
a sizable chunks of margin in an election Labour could not lose.

The polls on election eve had become closer with labour still a clear winner. One punter placed a Million dollar bet at even odds and the betting agency paid out the losing bets a couple of days before the election. It was all over, a forgone conclusion.

Going back in History this reflected the same outcome for Donald Trump and the Brexit vote in England. Forgone conclusions. However, as it turned out conclusions that were remarkable wrong.

They were wrong again. The liberal party, behind from day one and given no chance of victory
romped home with a clear majority. The people had spoken, the polls were indeed flawed.

Elections are always dramatic and we have little chance of making a difference as an individual but we can take notice of WINNING.

Don't take for granted that your place in the race is doomed, stick to your game plan and lay out a very clear plan for the future that shows promise and understanding. The finish line is still to come.

We all have our doubts at times and the writer is no different having been slammed in a recent site critique.Stay off the canvas and never give in because the gods work in strange ways and it's not over until it is over.

In conclusion I don't think the polls have changed or are wrong, I believe that people keep their beliefs closer to the chest and don't share as much as before.

So, if you are not getting the praise and support you want to hear just perhaps it is you not hearing it.

Just saying

Thank you!

The numbers are usually wrong on the forecasts. I don't think they ask ordinary people or maybe they make it up according to their own bias.
Don't believe in others opinions, just your own, believe in yourself. It sounds as though someone was quite harsh, 'slamming you' for whatever reason. Not sure I would value the opinion of a person who publicly slates another. We all have to learn.
All the best to you.
