The problem with Colour ( color) on WordPress

WordPress has changed a few things around with the latest update.

Mostly good however they have confused me completely with color selection.

Under the old method, I would choose a background color and copy the code.

So when I move to another area where I want to use the same color it was simply Copy and paste.

However, I now am unable to do that and have a problem matching it up.

It won't copy and paste and drive me mad as I use this a lot.

HELP!
