Yoast v Wealthy Affiliate
I recently wrote about Yoast SEO premium version having a problem.
The "Yoast SEO was unable to create the database tables" warning is not shown anymore
The good news is that Yoast has fixed the error and introduced a speed module
that supposedly makes the site faster.
I tested it this morning on my already fast WA site and it appeared to increase the speed using the WA speed report, particularly in the Mobile module.
Furthermore all warnings have gone so there is peace on Earth.
What got up my nose was running between the two support groups trying to get an answer as to where the problem was.
In the end Yoast did have a look at my site and use it as a platform for change so the end was OK.
Now the only decision is do we use Yoast or Allin one.
I am staying with Yoast premium.

Simplify and take as few pug ins as possible. If you are happy and it serves your purpose, go ahead.
If you are happy with the results, stay with that.
One of the challenge with a lot of plug-ins is you have to coordinate between the various support groups to resolve an issue. I have a similar experience, unfortunately the plug-in lost and I deleted it because it was causing too much time and issue with my website at WA.
You are correct Stanley I only wish they would be more forthcoming with information and less buck passing.

Ha! Ha! I agree but that is normal with multiple parties.
One may get fits if you got 30 plug-ins and don’t know which one is causing problems. Many will disagree with me but the thought of limiting plug-ins because support is a nightmare did cross my mind. The support people will have less to troubleshoot.
