Do numbers make a web page better
We are controlled by the numbers and they dominate your life on the Internet.
What got me thinking was an article on Blogging that I was writing where I explained the time passage needed to be a great blogger. Is it 400 blogs or 24 months with each blog being more than 1500 words with paragraphs no more than 300 words or sentences less than 25 words.
The numbers are everywhere dominating our whole thought process.
But back to what got me thinking was the number of words we write as bloggers and think nothing of it.
The average adult book contains about 90,000 words or 300 pages of 300-400 words.
My current blog contains just over 300,000 words or put in simple terms 3.3 adult books.
As I am only part the way to the top I should pass JK Rowling series by next year in the number of words.
Every morning I look at the traffic on my blog in numbers and the number of pages opened and the amount of time spent on the site.
Then I looked at myself and I walked 6250 steps yesterday where my FitBit promoted me to get to 10,000 but I did climb 75 floors in the imaginary building.
I am just going to drive 1.8 klms to get a $3.50 coffee where I use my coffee card and get 1 free for every 10 I buy
I have a free 30 minutes so I got to write this post which is only 1 in the last 30 days.
The numbers are attacking me and I may need to take medical support to give me 5 minutes break from obsessing over the uncontollable

The trouble with numbers is that once you start noticing them, they just keep coming up.
Geat website numbers though, well done.
Too funny, but I would say the numbers you are talking about would make your website pretty damned good!

It is probably true of other things too, not just numbers. Everything we start obsessing about.. thank you for a great post.
