Checking your website
I have just written a blog titled Check my site rank as todays post on newbusinessonline.net
As always when I am writing a blog I do some basic research to see what others are writing.
You sometimes pick up things that you did not know or had forgotten as a long past memory.
I came across a site http://nibbler.silktide.com that does a summary of your site and reports on all the different aspects of a good website.
I failed miserably on Social media with a score of just 2.5 out of 10 bringing my overall rating down to 8.5 . I scored quite a few 10-10 to bring the average up.
I have made the changes necessary so will keep track of the improvements.
None of us are perfect so a reminder like this is good sometime.

Great post and it is an interesting tool to use I have to make some improvements in some things. I did okay for my site not too bad. It is a very good tool and thank you for sharing it with this information I really appreciate.

Thanks Peter, that is one of the coolest sites I have come across. Very helpful building out my first site at WA, and really like their suggestions.
This was really interesting Hanley. I failed on the social media part dismally but ranked well in other areas checking my herbsfromheaven site.Thank you for sharing. Wealthy Affiliate also give us an appraisal of our sites where we can view the site health. I know I fail to check it often enough but I will use this tool as well now.
Thanks very much for sharing this tool Peter. I am always afraid of using these tools, especially when they are free, because very often they depress the user with the results to encourage the user to buy something or upgrade to "fix it".
But this one showed me some weaknesses which I can fix by myself.
