Considering Quitting

Today I have been here for exactly 100 days with WA. This is my 80th Blog Post on here and my time as a newbie is best described in my post https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/hamish58/blog/100-000-words-...
It saddens me when I see stories on here of people quitting, or planning to quit or despairing at stunts like Amazon's recent affiliate commission cuts.
So I wanted to offer some thought to those who are at or near that point and ask you to read this post and reconsider because all of us at WA want you to stay and be successful.......
Persevere
J.K. Rowling who wrote the Harry Potter series was rejected 12 times, before she finally got her first chance. Perseverance paid and today she sits on an estimated personal fortune of $700 million. There are some big publishing companies who rejected her who rue that decision every day!
What Would You Do Instead
Think about it; what is leading you to make this decision. Is it frustration or anger that is making you feel this way. Have you stepped out of yourself and taken a good dispassionate look at what is happening.
I saw a lot of chat recently when Amazon changed their affiliate commission rates about people who were ready to throw in the towel because of all the work that they had done, but Kyle did a great job of putting that into perspective:

(their rates were not that great to start with LoL).
Are You Really Spent
Ask yourself have you given your all; have you been true to the promises that you made to
yourself. Okay so a particular niche or affiliate partnership didn’t quite work out (oh there is Amazon again LoL) But you should see that as a minor detour on the journey to success.
If Edison had given up at experiment 999 we would all be sitting in gaslight at night with failing eyes! How many inventions, innovations and successes did he go on to have.
History is littered by examples of men and women who build great successes out of early failures or false starts.
Mistakes Happen….Good!
It is rare that one will travel a straight line to success. There will be bumps, which may even feel like mountains, but if we dream big enough we will crest them. Mistakes are a necessary part of building a business.
If we don’t make some mistakes we are probably not testing our full potential nor that of our business model. Constantly trying new techniques, systems and methods of achieving desired outcomes is how businesses stay relevant and competitive. We go nowhere if we don’t push the boundaries and innovate. We risk disruption
Passion Fuels Life

To give up on ones dreams is to risk living a life unfulfilled. Can you even imagine not being passionate about something. Did you really think that a passive, secure income could be built by anything other than honest hard work, learning and above all resolute faith in yourself?
You have in your head and your hands the potential to do something to change your life to have choice and to help many others along the way but it requires absolute, conviction. Don’t give up on you.
Anything Might Happen
Giving up today means never truly knowing if the breakthrough might just have happened tomorrow. The hard work invested already to date has a pay off waiting for you in the long term.
It is a marathon, it was never painted as a sprint. If you are intending to give up today, just give it another day, and another after that, and then maybe another and before you know it you will have beaten the Black Dog.
Dream Of Success
Most importantly hold on to you dreams, take time in the day to visualise them; one day you are going to achieve them. On that day the sheer joy of success is going to make the current agony you may be experiencing irrelevant.
Crossing that finishing line, which has been in your sights for so long and feeling the sense of achievement, accomplishment and elation is a feeling beyond words to describe. So WA warrior keep battling on, don’t quit because you deserve and you deserve the medals that are freedom choice and success.
Will You Prove Them Wrong?
How many people have told you that you can’t do this. I have several times in my life and I use that negative energy and turn it into a positive to motivate me to succeed and prove them wrong.
In my younger years I had many doubts about myself and that showed to the people around me and may have convinced them that I did not have the courage, or the staying power to achieve what I have said I would achieve.
In time, I got there through stubbornness and learning. You could take benefit from that learning now and not make the mistakes I made.
Stay with it and prove all the naysayers wrong and above all BACK YOURSELF, because you deserve this.

I too read a recent post containing similar content and responded with some encouragement at So Your Are WA-Weary and Only a Few Weeks In? .
And now I see yours and it is very encouraging to anyone needing to get back on track. But, it's amazing you find time for these being as busy as you are. I continue to wish you exceedingly great success.

When there is a will there will always be a way! Getting your will back is what your inspiring and encouraging post will do for some people, especially if they are alone, and in this season we are in. Thinking things through alone sometimes steer us in the wrong direction.
I hope your post will help some people to "correct course" and not quit because usually, there is always light at the end of the tunnel.

Great way to begin WED. I enjoyed your read. It made me think of every time I took time off and CAME BACK! I spoke to myself, and gave myself reasons to not pursue this dream, but I fought it, and said NO, you will make it, and you will thrive, and SUCCEED!!
I am so excited, that I can hardly wait to hold the check in my hand for my book I am writing, and seeing an ongoing passive income of $10,000 a month a growing.

Great post, Goose! There is one quote that I see when I go to the place that my wife is having her physical therapy--I'm not sure who said it, but on the wall is painted, "It is REALLY hard to beat someone who will NEVER Give up!"--most appropriate here in your thread.
Another one there that I liked too, goes like this:

There is no way to make money using affiliate marketing to make any significant money in less than a year unless you pay for advertising. If you can afford WA for a year which will be $588.00
take the chance. The training is pretty good but the chance of being successful is close to winning the lotto. My site was actually recognized by google but never made a dime. I spent a year with WA and I am still with them.
