Fox Aid

CosmicRadio (Rick) wrote today about his reluctance to ask for help. Here's the post:

I think a lot of us are like that by nature. I know I am. And speaking of nature, someone posted a video that I saw this morning on Facebook. It was very short, but makes this point beautifully.
A small, young fox had a plastic bottle stuck on its head. Ordinarily, a fox would never approach a human, but this poor little guy knew instinctively that is was in trouble and walked right up to guy seeking help. It was in desperate need of fox aid. The man instantly held the fox by the scruff of the neck with one hand and slid the little critter's head out from the suffocating bottle with the other. In the next instant, the fox bolted, but as soon as it was a few yards away, turned and gave a brief look of gratitude, before disappearing into the bushes. And the moral of this post? Don't be like me, Rick or the Fox, waiting until the last minute to get assistance...

Good Morning Hal,
Is it not horrible that we, with our plastic, throw away society, make animals suffer. Happy to see there was a good soul who helped this poor fox.
Greetings from Alicante, 500 km away from home.
Taetske
Yes, Taetske, It is shameful. Hopefully, the people who toss off their plastic, non-biodegradable trash are balanced by ecologically conscious people who come to the aid of our environment like the fellow in this video.
