Attracting Attention

Exciting news! Yesterday, I spent about a half hour on the phone with a lovely young lady named Danielle who is co-founder of a site related to my niche. Her site is a popular resource and she was seeking related websites with fun content that her followers might appreciate. During her searching, she came across my site and after reading some of my posts, decided she liked it and that her subscribers would like it, as well. So she sent me an email (copied below) and asked if I would like to "share audiences". Of course I replied, "Of course!" and asked if I could speak to her over the phone. I sent her my phone number, she called me, and as i said, we talked for a bout 30 minutes, maybe longer.

Here's a copy of the email. I blurred out the URL's and site names and replaced some information with underscores, but if you're really curious (and I hope you are), you can find a link to my baby boomer site on my profile page....

Imagine the feeling of elation I felt reading while her email! It's nice to know that since starting my website, it' s finally attracting attention and better yet, buiding an audience that will hopefully result in more traffic and - dare I hope? some sales!

BTW - Danielle mentioned that while seeking other sites within her niche, mine came up 3rd! So I must be doing something right in the SEO department. I couldn't have done it without the training here at WA, especially the video WAbinars from Jay Neill.*

I the meantime, I had been neglecting my site for the last couple weeks, so this definitely has given me the inspiration, motivation and encouragement to start writing, posting and updating my site!
