Last Update: December 11, 2017

I have to say, WA is the best place to be part of, no mater if you're Up or Down it is the best place to share your experience and learn. I leaned a lot here at WA. I was member in other place in which cost me lot more money and learned almost nothing just get frustrated daily with no result.

Now my last question about Plugins.

Which are the most important 5 plugins to have and be able to run a website on?

I hope it make sense what I'm asking- The 5 Plugins needed to run a website

i am not real experienced but technically plugin are meant to HELP your site in need. for example when you set your wordpress site up you are give two plugins to activate . the first , SEO is so you can give directions to google how to use your instruction to look at your site for listing , index, and rank. The EWWW plugin is so you can control the size of images that a) you store in your computer and b) to adjust the size of the image (picture ) you want to send to and display on your website. now for example , you want to sell items from your site directly, how will the customer pay for it? how will you collect? Well, you go to the website manager of your website and on the left you bring out the plugin title and then take the LINK that directs you to WORDORESS PLUGINS. NOW, at the plugin search bar you look for a plugin called WOOcommerce and another plugin called ONLINE store . I am not sure what woo commerce does But i do know that the ONLINE store is what is needed To take payments it is for credit cards, bank transfers AND PAYPAL. Now I am not saying you need these things , UNLESS you are selling online products from your and if you are selling, then I am not saying this is all you need. You may need more. But, that is another question, but i don't have the answer to that ,Hope this helps

Sounds like a great title for a blog post ;) ...but it totally depends on your niche. I would use one of the two most popular SEO plug-ins (Yoast or AIO SEO). From there, you have to decide which ones are most important to you. I would suggest a plug-in to capture emails so you can build a list and keep people updated - and make sure it integrates into your contact form as you can avoid another plugin install that way.

From there, I would just decide what your website's needs are going to be. Also, focus mostly on building your content before dressing up your site with plugins - after all, the plugins are not worth anything when they made a website more functional if it doesn't get traffic. When I wrote my first four or five posts, that was when ideas came to me for plugins I wanted/needed.

Finally, my most important suggestion would be to read at least a few reviews of every single plug-in before installing it. Make sure it is actively updated and that it's compatible with your version of Wordpress. It will say so in the description. If it's "untested with your version of Wordpress", wait until it's tested and compatible, or don't use it.
