Hey guys, I have almost been at Wealthy Affiliate for 2 months and its been a great experience. I have been gaining more viewers day by day, but I want to create a better way to mo

Spend more time in communities that need what you have. Engage in Facebook Groups, Pinterest, and Twitter. Find others in your niche. See what they are doing. I would spend a little time on the back to school thing and the NFL season that is about to start. Jerseys and fan gear. Then go to fan sites and stir things up:)

I have added some content under Spark Shop that I would love for you to see and let me know what you think!

Reviews are always relevant and necessary for your site, they help you with traffic and rankings so keep those. You have several options to add more items for sale to your store.

for instance I see you have Amazon store, so you can do a drop down menu under your shop men and place an amazon store there with a sports theme, Amazon allows you select individual items or just select category and add bulks of items for your sports theme.

You can also use an Amazon widget near the top of your main page and set the widget so that it changes with say Amazon's "Deal of the Day" so that anyone accessing your site would see that bargain.

Another way is to write relevant content and hyperlink your words to sales items. This can be done if you personalize your site more by having a content section where you get to converse with your fans and have them engage you with comments.

From these comments on your site you can gather their emails, create something like a sports newsletter and have them subscribe, then you can build an email list that can be used to market almost any sport item you have for sale. They will buy because you have already gained their trust. Everyone that visits your site is a customer waiting to buy something, and when they opt in to your newsletter, they have given you permission to sell to them.

You can monetize your store section with more products because anyone clicking there will know that a store means items to sell, so you can load that section with more items to sell.

would you suggest forgetting about reviews and just filling it up with items? Do reviews actually help?

Do you guys know how to add a logo to the left of the site title and tagline, in the hiero theme? That would be great help! Thank you :)

Actually, log in to your site with Site Rubix then go to Appearance, then select Customize and then Site Identity. There you will have the option to put in your logo if you have one already.

Go to Appearances >Theme Options and look for the Header section. See what options are available.

The theme would assign certain lengths and widths for the logo area and title and tagline and you would need to know those to size your logo accordingly.

If you don't see any options, perhaps go to the theme support forum. Maybe someone has asked the same question or you can ask there.

If you go into customise

Site title and tagline, delete everything in there and save. This will remove the wording from your header

Create your logo the way you want it to look and then go into General to upload your logo.

Hope this helps.

Hi lis! I think it might be the way I asked the question. But, I am trying to find a way to put both the Header Sitle Title and Tagline, alongside the logo!

Oh, I see.

That would involve creating a child theme and customising your site to the way you want it to look.

You would have to be familiar with coding to carry out these changes without causing any damage to your site.

A member has recently written an article on their site concerning using a plugin to simplify creating a child theme.

http://aboveandbeyondthehorizon.com/create-child-theme-in-wordpress-the-plug-it-in-way
--------------------------

Child themes ensure that any changes you make to the template of your theme does not get overridden when the theme is updated.

Unfortunately, the coding needed to make the changes you require is out of my scope. What I can suggest is going to the theme developers and explaining to them what you want to do. They should be able to provide you with the code you need.
--------------------------
You should also backup your site before you make any changes so that if anything goes wrong you will be able to reinstate the work that you have done so far.

I wrote the following post about backing up your site: Sorry I could not fully answer your question but I hope the above information helps.

Lis.

What Lis said.

Some themes are a bit restricted.
In that case you would have to change it by yourself (which can be difficult if you don't have experience with coding), or you'd have to find a different theme.

Hi,
go to your customizer.
There click on "general" and then "upload your logo".

Hope that helps.
I am not very familiar with this theme, but I just installed it on a test page to have a quick look.

Moritz

I know that, but it replaces the text under it. I need to find a way to put that alongside the site title and tagline
