Hi Tom
You go back to your previous plan as long as you remain subscribed to the platform.
Hope this helps.
and Tom ... Kyle is in Live Chat right now if you'd like to check in with him directly ...

Yes, if you decide Premium Plus is not for you you can always downgrade back to Premium at the same price that you had before.

I have noticed that the profile pages of members who left WA still show the diamond next to their profile pictures. It is confusing as anyone can think that they are still memb
A former member who rejoined, needed a tax record from when they were formerly a member. They were glad because they could retrieve that info, now that they rejoined.
If you wonder if someone is active, see if they recently posted something.
Many people do not seem to ever update their goals.
Goals from new members help us not so news to decide if we have something in common and want to help them.
Maybe we want to see if they have any fire in them to achieve their goals, or if they are flat liners. :>( ---------------------------------------!!
Or one of our friends recently left in February, but the lights are always on, in case he wishes to return. Like when he gets a reality check, $$$ on hosting fees for multiple websites and domains, and wants to come back home and save some Moolah!
Oh WA Please Let Me Back In!!
*Our friend posted over 400 posts, so gemstone or crown in memoriam is still well deserved!
You asked Tom, and there's my opinion, and I'm waiting to see what others bring to add to the stew.
Glad they are keeping the lights on for me here at WA, not so much me keeping the lights on for WA , thanks to the Black Friday deals!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No Ka Oi.
And 2.2 million members can't be wrong that WA is the Best PERIOD.
Suzay
Thanks Suzay, that explains quite a lot 👍 guess if a person wishes then they should request the action that needs to be taken- best course of action, I think.
Hi Tom at this time the platform does not distinguish if a members subscription is live or not.
I would imagine that it would take considerable resources to implement a system that flagged that situation, purple for live Red for not?
The only way would be checking out if the Not Live tag comes up after trying to PM them, as Diane and Abie say. Thanks, Alex!
The easiest way is just to go to a members profile, it stands out. Just on a side thought once a member of WA always a member it's only that paid members get to access the resources.
Yes, I was aware--you can try to send them a PM and usually it shows whether they are "Live" or not!
Jeff
You're welcome, Tom! When I read down, I saw that A & AJ had already answered minutes before!
Hi Tom - as far as I am aware, all the profiles of any member who has ever registered are still shown. They are only deleted if they are banned from the platform or have deleted their own account. I presume its in case they come back in the future, whether that be next week or in five years.
The only way you can tell if a member is no longer here, is if you have ever exchanged Private Messages, as it will say Not Live.
Yes, I have noticed that too (PM). However, before trying that, the diamonds there cause confusion. Thanks Diane!
As you know Marcus was banned but his profile is still here. I know a few more in the same status.
I wonder if there is a difference between being write banned with no communication but still being able to access the platform, as opposed to being banned altogether for the most serious infringements?
I am not familiar with this, but I know several people who were banned and forced to leave, yet they are formally here.
I haven't seen any cancelled members with a premium tag. How do you know they cancelled, Tom?
That is weird that it would show them as still premium members, unless the process takes a moment or two...
Rudy
Because they had already made their final decision to cancel, expressed through their last posts.
I agree. However, there is also a difference between a message that expresses a wish and another one that expresses a final decision made.

Hi,
You may like report in below thread if not done so already. The Official Bug Thread - Post Any Bugs Here Our icons are going dark too, and dashboard drop downs white.
Hope it is fine for now, Tom.
Happened to me before, never bothered about it since it always got fixed by the time I log back in, the longest when there seems to be an update on the site, another when there seem to be a problem.
To success on your online journey!!!

I was asked: what if I join WA (USA), but after a while, I have to go abroad to live in a country (South America) included in WA? What steps he has to take to maintain his prem
Hi Tom,
I am in South America, came here from Australia. You might run into some minor problems with some browsers wanting to display everything in Spanish.
I use Chrome, Firefox can be a pain sometimes. How is it a small metal case knows where it is :-)
With Wealthy Affiliate I have made no changes, I still have the same emails I used in Australia.
So nothing really changed there.
Setting up a new website I used a Colombian address linked to gmail, again no issues.
Keep your phone connection with your current provider and don't change any log in's for your banking, and other important things.
I don't know much about American phone plans, But if you are only going to use your phone to receive texts for logins, then get the cheapest phone plan you can.
I use skype for communicating it works well.
Credit cards, mastercard, Visa work, Visa is the card of last resort at an ATM.
There maybe exceptions with some South American online stores. Mercadolibre is one I have a problem with.
If you need large amounts of money. The ATMs here don't dispense large amounts of money and with Covid, finding a bank with customer service to do currency exchange is near impossible (where I am).
I had problems when I bought a car. I bought it privately, he wanted cash, and going through a dealer was going to be too painful.
The best way after considering all the options, I did an online bank transfer to my brother back in Australia and got him to send me the money back via Western Union.
The exchange rate? just close your eyes. But with Western Union it was better than the banks here.
Hope this is of some help.
Michael.
P.S. Be sure to advise your bank where you are going so they don't put a block on your cards.
Thanks, Mike for your detailed answer. The language is not an issue, probably bank and credit cards are. I see Australia-South America worked fine, not sure about the US.
You will be fine Tom there are lots of American expats around. Link for you

Thanks, Lisa. Most likely the payment method should be changed as the current one might not apply in the country where he will be living.
Very true. When I moved abroad I still had my UK bank account and 10 years later still do. Brexit May change that.
Tom, this is one of the selling points that is talked about in all the advertising for WA. All you need is a laptop and an internet connection.
Bux
Yes, I know Dave. The specific question is what members did with their memberships when they moved abroad permanently.
Tom, just pay it by bank transfer, there are WA affiliates in something like 192 countries around the world. It should be easy to do with modern banking systems. If you are moving, contact accounts or support and they will definitely lead you through it.
Good luck. Going anywhere nice.

I'm in South America. All he needs is his computer and wifi to stay connected.
Candy Benn
Thanks, Candy. That's fine for members who've always lived abroad, but what if a member lives in the USA and then he has to move to another country.
Well the only difference I experience is some restrictions from a few affiliate programs.
Candy Benn
Yes you can move to south America and still receive the benefits of WA. I moved to Indonesia and have been living here for almost 3 years while using WA.
All the best to you.

Thanks, Aaron. That sounds interesting. What changes did you make to your account? I need to make sure before replying to the potential member.
I didn't have to change anything actually. I still receive payment on my PayPal and I still pay for membership with my bank account. WA makes it easy. 🙂
