Before I gush on about myself, I want to thank Wealthy Affiliate for creating this awesome platform. I started this journey thinking of creating a small side hustle and that is about it.

I never thought I was going to have FUN!

I own a virtual accounting firm and invest in real estate in my spare time. I grew both of these businesses to a point where my husband now works with me and we have a great amount of freedom.

I have a few clients that were making money in the affiliate marketing space and as I got more involved with them, I thought I wonder if I could do this. I work from home, make my own schedule and so I figured I would give it a try. But I could not quite get over the pure amount of software and tech that seemed to be involved with every how to blog. Not even sure how I stumbled across this site, but when I did it changed everything. I really knew I could do this. All the guesswork has been removed and after my initial elation, I realized OMG I have to write stuff. I cannot write, I am an accountant for Pete's sake, not known for creative thinking.

Thanks to the training here, I decided I would at least try. Well I may not be a great writer, but I am addicted! I am in a morning coffee write 2 articles phase and never seem to stop having new ideas.

The Niche I started with is Real Estate Investing. Because I do this sucessfully, I always have people asking me how I got started. So I figured why not share this with everyone in a blog.

Well I have started with some basic articles to get content going on the site, and I have a ton of ideas to keep it going.

I had a group of friends over on Saturday when I decided to sneak a minute to log in to WA to find that I had been indexed on Google. I ran out to the group and yelled "I just got indexed on Google woo!" They really did look at me as if I were nuts but sensed my enthusiasm so congratulations were in order.

Now I am hooked, I have already bought the domain for my next site that will deal with finances and other FUN facts that I cannot wait to start.

I have not added a single affiliate link or made a cent and I know it will come in time but for now I am happy just to write.

So in the next 3 months I hope to have content rich sites, complete with all the great things taught by WA that are more than ready for affiliate links. In 6 months, I hope to see traffic building on my site and revenue generated by the links.

So for anyone new like me let me say, stop researching and start writing. It was eye opening for me to just start "talking" on paper and find that I had things to say. When I try to research what to say nothing happens.
