There seems to be a lot of people trying make an online income and , I

guess a lot fail, and there are the famous affilliates making a killing(

The Morrisons, Brun

It really is limitless. You can make a very decent living with even staying simple and small with what you do. Or you could make more by ramping it up a bit and investing more time. The trend continues in that direction.

I hope you will see the success you desire. You certainly can get there!

Yes, you got it about right

Hi there

Here is a link to a blog written by one of the many successful WA members: As you read the blogs of the different members you will come across those enjoying massive success, you will also see that they work extremely hard to achieve.
https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/roopekiuttu is worth following as are https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/littlemama, https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/jerryhuang, https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/nathaniell, https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/eddysalomon, and https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/benjisdad
There are still many, many more - these are the first names that popped into my head.
Wishing you every success with your online business adventures!

As much or as little as their work ethic allows. There are people here at Wealthy Affiliate who struggle to earn while others here have earned 7 figures. It all depends on you.

So what are peoples thoughts in copying others, and editing so it seems like your own words?
What are the fallbacks?
Are there any advantages?

I agree with everyone else.

You can use ideas and information, but put your own spin on it.

There is only one unique you, so use your own style of writing and expressions. Even if it takes longer to write, you will enjoy the journey and learn along the way.

Hope this helps!

Hi - everything on your site should be as close to 100% original as possible. Google frowns upon any duplicate content and does not rank it high in its search engine results.

You can take inspiration and ideas from other websites, but you need to do more than "edit slightly", you need to rewrite it entirely in your own words.

Besides which, if material is copyrighted, and this also applies to images, there can be legal consequences.

I would say taking an idea and making it your own is ok. I am not a fan of taking someone elses work and making it my own. If I saw someone doing that I would not be happy. There are times when you do research on a topic that you may have similar writings as another person but simply because you using the same research information. If someone calls you out on it I would think that your credibility would be gone as well.

It will hurt more than give you advantages.

First, Google will see your work as a duplicate, therefore you won't get indexed or ranked.

Second, copying others' work is unethical. You might face a legal problem in the future. If you'd like to get royalty-free images, you can get it from sites like http://pexels.com, http://unsplash.com, http://pixabay.com.
You can find more sources here: Third, not only you'll hurt your post in terms of SEO, but you'll also hurt the people's work you copied as well.

Fourth, there are many ways where you can create unique content for your website. Here are a few tips for you:
- Google Trends, YouTube, Pinterest are some of the great places to start finding ideas
- Reading your competitors' posts is part of the research you need to do to develop your work. However, don't fall into a rabbit hole, spend too long in doing research, and forget why you do it in the first place.
- You can go to http://answerthepublic.com and type down the topic you want to write on their search engine. You'll be amazed at how many ideas you'll get.

Fifth, you can hire a writer. Check out http://iwriter.com or find it from sites like Fiverr etc.

Sixth, use plagiarism checker tools like Grammarly, paperrater.com, etc.

I hope this helps,
Ferra

So I am going to run with two niches. One is picked, the second I am thinking of four products that compliment each other....1/ Wealthy affiliates, 2/ Groove funnels, 3/ Get re

I would suggest picking the niche that you know most about as it is easier to write about something you know. But only pick one niche at a time as it is very hard to focus on several different things.

Good luck.

Helen

Hi - as a starter member you can only have one website, so pick the niche you would most enjoy writing about. The one you mentioned above falls in the Make Money Online niche which is extremely competitive, and may require you to write hundreds of posts before you see any real success.

The reason for the 4 product make money niche is because of what I have seen from an Antony Morrison video. But replacing clickfunnels with groove.

Hi - I'm not saying its a bad idea, far from it. All the products are related and so would be appropriate for one make money website. I was just making you aware of how competitive this niche is.

One of the most successful members here (littlemama) didn't really see any success until she had written over 400 posts, and now has over 700 posts on her website.

I noticed you were asking if Grace (littlemama) was available in Live Chat. To be honest, I don't think I have ever seen her participate in chat. Here is a link to her profile page if you want to ask her a question.

I agree with Emmi and start with one niche, become an expert in that one and the move to the next. There are no good ones or bad ones, it is all down to you and how you take them forward.

I think it will depend on what angle you take. They are very competitive (certainly 3 of them anyway).
What do you plan to write about? I would do some serious keyword research upfront and then check Google for the sites that are ranking on page 1 for your keywords to see what the level of competition is like - I'm guessing quite tough.

All the best,
Mark.

I would also consider starting with one niche and build it up first.
