I say keep the domain while starting over with a new one. Who knows, maybe you’ll have a spark of creativity and will want to post something on your gadgets website again. It won’t hurt you at all to keep it. Besides, the more the website ages, the more worth it’ll acquire. Just sit and think on it before making any rash descisions.
I let one of my sites go after a few months. Maybe you could start a new site and see how that goes without deleting your gadgets one. Sit on it awhile and see if you get some inspiration.

Where your website is hosted is not as important as understanding the differences between using Google for a local audience as opposed to a Global crowd. I won't say it has no bearing but this information may help.

I was not trying to be evasive, I was just trying to get you to understand some important Google mechanics over speed.
The location that you are hosting your website from will perform better the closer it is geographically to your audience.
So from an SEO perspective, you will, in fact, get better Google ranking by hosting on quality servers there in the UK.
Most folks here at WA tend to be cash-strapped and try to take advantage of the free hosting.
I was trying to assist with that in mind.

I think PeterZ1 is right. I deleted my first site due to this problem and got myself into a real pickle. Now I am learning how to change themes by using the move button. Hope this helps.
I believe this has to do with the theme itself. The featured image is just made to appear in the size it's currently appearing. Because probably when you try to resize it just shows a pixeled image of the resized image but with the same size as it normally would?

Yes, you can use other people's videos from YouTube. You'll want to tweak the embed function so the suggested videos don't appear at the end. Embed YouTube Video in WordPress
If always, it's always more safe to use original content. But when it comes to using other's YouTube videos, ask yourself one question: am I making money off of their video? If yes, than you shouldn't be using their video! If no, than you should be good. Please remember though that I'm not an attorney and am only offering advice as a friend! Definitely aska professional if it comes to that point.
Using someone else's video is only if it is used as an informational reference. But if using their video takes sales away from the creator (such as a product review video), that you'll make someone mad I'm sure!
I use other's YouTube videos as references for information - such as if I was writing about a leather couch, than the YouTube video I use might be of how leather is good on couches.

Hey TCC, respectfully, I think you're incorrect when it comes to YouTube videos, but absolutely correct when referring to materials posted on, say, a company website that are not on YT.
Ethically, of course, it wouldn't be appropriate to use someone else's review video although if there's a share button there, they have definitely allowed reposting.
That makes total sense - never thought about looking for the "share" button as an indication. Thanks for correcting me on this - I'll be more careful myself.
Yes, most youtube videos are created in the purpose of sharing to others. You can simply click share button and get the link, copy and paste into your article.

Yes you can if there's a "Share" link below the bottom right of the video frame. That means the user has agreed to let people embed their videos on other websites. If they don't want that, the "share" link won't be there.
