Would like as much constructive criticism as possible in order for me to improve my site and make it as good as it can possibly be. Go ahead and give me a list of things i need

Your writing is informative, and you speak from a personal experience, a good thing.
My only suggestion is to make your "about me" page more about why you started your website. I think the whole TLM can be made into a post, instead of "about me" page.

I can say that the site has genuinity. Technical suggestions are many already.

It's good. The content is rich. It can be improved by adding more pictures and videos if possible. There are visitors who can get turn off by words. They might prefer visual content like videos and you can cater for them. Just my 2 cents worth advise. You've done a great job!

I think you have some great content but you can't really tell that from the home page, which appears to be About Me. I think in this case your About Me should be a little beefier, a little more of your story to give people some hope that they will find what they are looking for in your content. So what I'm trying to say is that your About Me can be your home page, it just needs to be stronger, more compelling.

It is bright , simple and light coloured, but I am not a specialist to give you criticism.
I think your info is special.

Ii liked the site for its simplicity but wasn't clear on what you were asking me sign up for.. I read somewhere that columns should be about 2 and easily scanned because of how the eyes work. Anybody know anything about that I would hate to give you the wrong information on that. Good Work Cheers Carolena

I would put you affiliate disclosure in the same page with your privacy policy. only because when people browse your page and they see you have an affiliate disclosure link, its going to turn them off.

I love it/ It is a great and very informative site. I also like how simple and clean the colors are, they calm you and I think that is great for that subject. Great stuff Greggs.

I think there's a lot of great info on your site. The design is simple which is good. I was a bit confused as to what you want your readers to do but after spending some time it came together a bit better for me. Just remember however, that many readers won't spend time doing this and may leave if they get confused.

Best Regards,
Jim

I would put your privacy and about me pages on a sidebar menu.

I was thinking about making my about me the homepage?

It is already your homepage from what I see. So no need to have it on menu. Also would remove site map from sidebar and include it on page instead. You may want to put your recommended programs on a sidebar menu as well for better visibility.

sounds good :)

Would you put the reviews of the recommended products on the sidebar?

Yes. See http://thewealthyboomers.com/ for and example. They are in the pull down menu and also on the sidebar. It's a technique we learn in one of the modules about site layout. You do this by setting up a custom menu and using the custom menu widget. To make the menu just get the links for those articles and include them.

I don't know why anyone hasn't said so before? If they have then they were right on in my opinion. But you actually promote your own niche. So what could be better in your home page than leading with a story on how you suffered from anxiety and then overcame it, right from the very first few lines.
I really liked your content & some of your pages & posts were engaging to me. but your front page seems a bit watery at the beginning and i struggled to find any real sense of direction. Also, people suffering from such things as anxiety and depression are mainly looking to address one underlying emotional need. Which is where to find some comfort? So the colors blue & white are probably not the best to use for enhancing comfort. Lastly, i feel like the last column was very feint and so hard to index or engage with myself.
Apols, i feel i am perhaps being a harsh critic here. But the info of your content i thought was really impressive. It was just the layout and visual lack of appeal for me for that particular niche, that i really struggled with.

Regards,

Robin

Thanks for your honesty, really appreciate it :) i know what you mean, I was thinking aboout changing my theme today. Maybe i should set my "about me" as my homepage

i bought Domain with godaddy but didn't create an account, i'm supposed to have an account to add the WA dns servers ? any ideas

Thanks

Hi Greg, Create an account for yourself with GoDaddy, you should have that anyway if you are going to be buying domain names. Once you have an account you can login to it and go to your domain details and go to settings. When you are there you will have the opportunity to point the servers to WA. All you have to do is put in the following details under name servers:
Primary: ns1.mywahosting.com
Secondary: ns2.mywahosting.
I did this last night and within minutes my site was up.
Hope that helps.

If you have a concern, just give them a call. They want your business again, so they will help you.

In the end it appears that you are worrying without a cause.

worrying without a cause = pointless lol

copy and paste WA DNS and try it that way should work

I did this quite recently, it is quite an easy process, pretty sure there is a tutorial here that shows you how.

haha now the WA dns name settings are not valid in hostgator What the Hell is going on? i'm about to explode and jump on the xmas tree

Oh, let me light the blue touchpaper... puullleeeze. :P

Thanks :) i just found out i'm not actually with godaddy :L lol waste of time

*sigh*

Call GoDaddy their customer service number is: (480) 505-8877.

They are open 24 hours a day and seven days a week and they can help you solve the issue right now with some basic info you purchased the domain name with.

If you made a purchase with GoDaddy you'll most certainly have an account, it isn't possible to buy a domain without creating one! You need to login at GoDaddy, select the domain name you have purchased and change the DNS to point to the hosting here at WA. https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/training/wa-hosting-setting-up-your-domain-dns :) Rich.

i think you can just buy it straight on the site without creating an account.

Nope. Not possible! :) R.

Kyle has the majority of his menu pages unclickable, check it out to see what i mean thanks.

I like the way it is done.:)

Sorry, but I am not able to catch the point. They are all clickable

I don't understand..... pages opened up when I clicked on them.

Hey Gordi. Lawrence means that if you click on the actual title, "The Good" or "The Scams" they don't trigger anything themselves, only the dropdowns do. :) R. x

Just use the add Link function in Custom Menu, add any old link such as http://google.com or a # and title it as you want displayed on the menu bar, then add it and any drop downs underneath it. Then delete the link or # out and it won't be clickable. :) Rich.

Cheers :)

I dont get it. Can you explain one more time?

When i click on "the good" and "the scams" pages they don't go anywhere?

in your Menu edition page : here :
http://www.yourdomain.com/wp-admin/nav-menus.php

on the menu that you want to remove the URL from, click on Custom, in the URL field : remove the URL or put # in it. and save. that's it.

Hello Gregg
They are clickable to me. I'm not sure what you refering too in the page.

can i add affiliate links to social networks?

Thanks for asking, Lawrence. Sometimes, we get so entangled with what we are doing and we tend to forget asking simple questions. We just leave the work untended and this is not a good way to become successful in the business. Keep it going! We have a lot of experts around to help us with our concerns.

Yes. Cloke it

Greg, I think that Twitter is one of the unusual social sites in that Google's URL shortener is the only one that it accepts.

On other social media, they will not allow link shorteners. Pinterest is one of these and I ran into another one awhile ago and forget which one, but usually, you put a page URL containing the link.

Daniel, does Pinterest accept the google URL shortener?

sure as long as they will accept it if not you can use Google URL shortener

I just tried that on twitter but its banned

with the Google URL shortener?

Here is the link http://goo.gl/

Thanks for sharing, Tommy. Sometimes, I get lazy with the long, long URL and I just stop because it doesn't look good to share. I didn't think of shortening. LoL!

Ok thanks :)

I think there is no ban on that.

Sometimes there are, Vimal. I created my timeline on Dipity and there are URLs that are not acceptable.

When i check my post in google - the description of the post is all muddled up. "If you constantly feel fearful during your life then you may be experiencing inappropriate fear

Glad to hear you're back on track. This community is very supportive. Good luck.

thanks for your help everyone, I've now sorted the problem out :)

If this is your tagline, you can go to your settings, click "general" and change your tagline right below your site title. Or if it's your website description, click "All in One SEO", scroll down and edit your Home Page Settings. I hope this is what you are looking for. Let us know if you need something else.

Hope you will resolve it.

You can fix this by writing your own description of the post. You can do that in the bottom of the page where you edit your post, in All in One SEO pack section. There is a form with "Description", just fill that in.

If you can't see this section, you have to enable All in One SEO pack first like it was mentioned in the #1 course.

No one could have provided a better solution.

Thanks a lot!!
