Are Keywords Important For SEO? Of course we know they are but how much. How many time do you use the keywords in your blog post, blog page, or copy in general?
At Wealthy Affiliate they teach us to put the keyword in the title, the URL, the first paragraph and in at least one image title and image alt tag. Plus add them to are All in One SEO settings for the post title and post description.

Is anyone placing your keywords anywhere else? Where? And what have your results been?
Another topic to add to this, would be word count of your posts. I see now that a 4000 word article is best for ranking higher in Google. However I also notice writing shorter content on authority sites like Medium and our Wealthy Affiliate blogs, training and question pages get ranked hight as well.
Getting rank in Google for our WA blogs and such is a good thing as the links are also affiliate links and we would get credit for anyone who signs up from are post, questions and/or training page they come across in the search engines. In fact this page does come up in Google for the keywords "Are Keywords Important For SEO". interesting
I've been experiment with post on Medium to see if it helps with traffic. I'm trying writing post here on WA to see if I get referals. Have you got referals from your posts her on WA?

Where to place those keywords? Headline and in the first paragraph. And sometimes, in the closing statement. With the rest? Just write naturally. That was I learned from Kyle.
Keywords are hugely important, but it's also important to not keyword stuff. I've seen a lot of articles produced by new bloggers who seemed to put every keyword for their topic into one article. Google doesn't like that. It wants a primary keyword as the focus. So if you have a great list of keywords, don't just write one article with all of them included - instead write a post for each keyword, use it a handful of times as taught by WA, and don't try to force it into the article in additional places. That's considered best practice.
I try to add the keyword in my final paragraph. Have taken no stats to determine if it is a good thing or not.
