Anyone Notice Extreme SiteSpeed?

Hey folks, I just noticed this.

Looks like we now have two options for Sitespeed.

Accelerated or Extreme

Hi Greg and thanks for this really important information. We just checked on a website we recently created and it was already set to extreme and which suggests this might now be the default setting for all new websites. But, even if it is, anyone with an older site should definitely check and change to extreme if necessary.

Why are there two options?
Why not only the fastest one - Extreme?
When would it be better to choose "Accelerated"?

OK!

See that my website was already set to "Extreme".
So I suppose this is the best choice.

I looked at my site this morning and noticed it had already been set for "extreme." That seems like a good idea to me. The faster the better. If you have plugins or videos or who knows what else on your site that could slow things down, the site speed improvement will help compensate for those. Way to go, WA!

Yes, it is the best idea with "extreme".
I noticed Carson have written a post about this and found out about how it works and why there are two different kinds of speeds to choose.

Kimwolfe (here in this thread) has shared a link to Carsons post, in case you haven't seen it already.
