There are so many pieces to the niche I like, but hard to catergorize.
ok, so I will give it a try and see if I can help. I'm not real familiar with all the products or areas that are out there. I can probably give you some ideas to work off of though.
In your blog (if you choose to have one) you can write posts on any new inventions or developments in the equipment industry (like bathroom accessories or something)
then you can have pages titled:
At work, On the Go (as in a vehicle), Bed/Bath, Kitchen, Yard
Just some examples here. On each of those pages you can have a sub-page for a different item used in that area. For each item you could have an affiliate link.
Do a google search:
handicap accessories + affiliate
or whatever you would look for (product + affiliate)
and you'll get a list of companies.
I think that's not too broad. You'll have plenty of room to talk about the different things.
Hope that helps :)

How to not make a niche to broad but big enough to promote?

Is there a specific type of handicap you are looking to target? Folks in wheelchairs will have different needs than blind people. People with mental disorders will be different as well.
You can target parents of special needs kids, or adults with special needs parents.
