Have you ever FASTED?

Hey all,

hope you are having a wonderfully creative day so far.

If you have ever fasted you will know how beneficial it is for your whole system. Done properly fasting brings a lot of benefits with it, apart from the bonus (for some ) of losing some belly fat! Fasting can be done for different reasons, for me it is mostly as a form of detoxification.

I am now planning to fast at the beginning of the new year. I know that is still a couple of weeks away but was wondering if anyone would be up for a Fasting Challenge? We could work out the details together or I can set the parameters. My idea would be for every day or for every kilo lost each person puts a certain amount aside which is then given to a .... let's say a good cause.

I don't see this as a new year's resolution because I am sure you will have plenty of others and this is not meant to put pressure on our already full and busy lives. In fact it is like a de-stressor.

I am just sounding sounding this out at the moment and will post more on this later.

I've fasted for religious reasons but never by choice. Maybe a fast would be a good thing right now; still feeling and seeing the effects of Thanksgiving which lasted for days at my home.

I have never fasted before! Well only when doctor makes me for blood work! That doesn't count!

I have fasted several times and normally felt well with it. Last time I didn't, maybe I was too much in stress at the same time. Since then I have never done it again - and also gained back all my weight. Take care to have enough calmness while you are doing it and no stress from outside! I wish you success and the feeling of lightness!

Hee, it sound funny yet interesting. Well, I fast mostly for spiritual upliftment which automatically detox as well as maintain the body. So it is both for body and soul cleansing. The first 30 days or seven days are usually compulsory but work out and let's see for the fun of it and to encourage a friend. Well done for that piece Vee.
