Full Moon Super Moon Nov 14 2016
This morning the biggest full moon since 1948 was visible in the skies.
I woke up early enough to see it in all its glory but fell back asleep again - I was awake till very early this morning reading WA mails!
It is a very powerful full moon not only because it is so close to the earth. For many of us this will be a once in a lifetime experience.
I was somewhat disappointed at first that although I got to see the moon just over the sea, I didn't get to take a photo which I had already intended yesterday to share with you here.
Here is a photo from the Daily Telegraph of an aeroplane flying over the London eye - oh man, I would have loved to have been on that plane!! (CREDIT: TOBY MELVILLE/REUTERS)
There were two lessons to learn here;
1. Be prepared when opportunity comes. We have to recognise and TAKE the opportunities when they show up. If we miss them that lies in our realm of responsibility
2. Hanging our heads, complaining and bemoaning ourselves once we have missed an opportunity does not help, UNLESS we see it as a chance for learning to do something different the next time around or when we encounter a similar situation.
So although I have no photo of my own to share i can at least share these two valuable lessons with you. And who knows, maybe I will still be alive when the next one comes around in 2034, by which time I will (only) be 76!!
Here is some more info about it if you are interested.

if you are lucky you might catch a glimpse of it this evening.
All the best
