3 Posts a week, am I too slow?

Hi all,

sunny and warm greetings on this wonderful Friday.

I have a question and would like some feedback.

In one of the lessons Kyle talks about creating 3 blogs a week as a baseline.

I have to admit that at the moment I am struggling to create one every week, even though I have a schedule and am doing well sticking to it - I spend time thinking about a new theme, looking for my keywords, but the actual writing of it takes time as I write, re-write, and keep editing to make it "pass" the Yoast tests.

I am wondering how others do it. Would anyone like to comment on this or share maybe more effective ways of writing that would help me increase my output to at least two a week?

Would greatly appreciate any input.

Thank you all

Vee

That's what I do. It does start to add up. Keep on!

Thanks for the encouragement

I usually get only one a week, this week I somehow got two, but it's a struggle just to get one with so much other things to do.

Go with your pace and your schedule and stick with that. As long as you're consistent that is key!

Keep up your good work!

that is reassuring...sometimes I get two done but I know that i have lots of other things to do beside working, so I will go with th flow. thanks for your comment Grace

No problem and you're welcome! :)

I find myself spending more time in other areas as where I need to spread my time equally if possible. I try to do what I can until can balance my schedule out.
I hope you find the best way that works for you.
Continued Success!

thanks Louisa, I am sure I will. interesting to hear what others have to say

One a week is my benchmark. I might be able to do more now that I have some free time on my hands.

:)

Hello Valina,

I think if you can accomplish one a week that would be sufficient until you have more time. I Pray you reach a point in your schedule that time will allow you to do as many as you feel you need to.

I Pray You Have a Blessed and Safe WeekEnd;

thanks much for your encouragement WIlliam.
wishing you a great weekend too

Thank you

I just write what is on my mind. To this point I have not concerned myself with keywords, I'm just practicing getting my juices flowing. I may be wasting my time, I don't know. But writing is becoming easier. Building around keywords is coming soon.

i think it is good to go with our individual flow

There certainly is no standard for the number of posts that should be done in a week. Normally, I try to do one every two days. But, I am retired and have the time. I think a post per week is a good target for someone who has a lot of other responsibilities.

So true James

Yes i agree too, was just interested to hear what others had to say. my life is soooooo full that even when i spend 4-5 hours a day on WA it sometimes does not seem enough ;)

thanks for your thoughts

I have a suggestion for you my friend. I do the same thing as you. I look at all the other things and when it comes to the actual writing, I have little time left for it. There are a couple of different ways to do what I am suggesting. My lady says I am a dinosaur the way I do things but they work still so I still use them.
I use a mini cassette recorder and I take it everywhere I go. I take it to the grocery store, in the car, to the gym or even to the bathroom. You never know where you will get that one brainstorm idea you can write all day on. I know when I get that idea, I am NEVER near a computer or desk. I am usually on my phone so I can't even pull up WA on my phone to get a draft going (can you see where this is leading to?) . So, when these ideas come to me, I take out that mini cassette recorder ( I will call it a MCR for now on here) and put it to my mouth while I keep walking in the grocery store or wait in the waiting room for the doctor.
I am always doing something and writing 3 blogs a week is a great thing to do IF you have the time. We should ALWAYS have that time. If you can get your hands on a MCR then you may find a little more time available.
I have found that with the MCR, I have found topics for later use that I "saved" with it. I have had full articles recorded that all I had to do is play it and type it out when I got to a point where I could sit to do it.
This may not be something you can get your hands on but if you can, I would suggest you try something like this. It has increased my productivity tremendously.

Mike

sounds good - i usually makes notes on my phone or one of the exercise books i always have in my bag lol!

Love your island. If you look for a subject you are passionate about the writing flies by faster than the time.

that is true, just the research that takes so much time

Great pic -

You have to write from your heart just 350 words is enough and make it interesting and this depends on your niche,
If you do one blog a week it ons great as Google like consistency and just keep doing that. If you think of something then let it flow as that is the best way

thank you for the reassurance Paul.
Have a great day.
I think the next Ambassador meeting should be here in Dominica :) :)

That would be wonderful!!!!
