does any one know what to do when you can't move your site rubix to your own domain? i have pushed the move button 50 different times.
I think you must be experiencing a glitch. Try getting out of WA altogether. Maybe even reboot your computer and then try again. If you still can't make the transfer, write to support. The transfer should happen pretty quickly although its been so long since I've done it, I don't remember how long it does take.

Hi graveltruck, everything in your site will move to a new domain. But don't delete the old site instantly after you move. If you delete the old site instantly, sometimes everything will not appear on the new site.

yes , you should as people like to know someone is there to reach. It also increases your credibility with the customer or people looking at your site.
Yes you should get a new email to go with your domain website. It's easy to set up and you can link it to your personal email.
Then yes you should change the email part on your privacy page to your new email and put your new domain name in every spot you had your rubix website at.
I don't remember I have had another email. You are maybe required to provide it but it's not necessary new.
Once you change to a new domain, you will have to set up the email for the new domain and direct it to your personal email if you want to do that. You will also have to go through any statements on you site that have referred to your .siterubix.com email and change them.
An example would be your privacy page. There are entry in there that contains your site Rubix email address. You will have to change these. Also anywhere else on your old site rubix site that has contact info. directing it to site rubix email will have to be changed.

Just follow Site Rubix instructions nothing is lost unless you delete your domain.
Although you have a domain name, you can also name your website. The name you give your website will be in the header of the site. My domain name contains the words fishingluremart, but my website is called "Lure Mart." If the protocol for setting up your website is asking you what website... enter your domain name. When it asks you to "name" your website, you pick another name. Your domain name cannot be changed. You can change you website name anytime.
