The Offer

So, I was talking about the value you should give your customers, or your would-be customers, in my last blog. This value carries over when you get to the point that you have a product to offer your folks. This is where a lot of people new to this mess up. I certainly did. It made a huge difference when I had my "aha" moment.

People don't buy a product. It's not about the product. If you focus all your marketing around the product it will never be a long term success. People buy a product because of the value they feel they're getting, or perceived value. They buy because of your OFFER.

If you're getting a lot of clicks and no sales, I guarantee you that your offer is weak. You need to put together an offer that gives them a reason to buy from you and not the next guy. It doesn't matter what business your'e in or what you're selling. If you're a chiropractor and someone's driving down the street and pass three of chiropractor's offices before they get to yours, what do you have that will get them to buy your services over the others?

Nowadays, when I'm putting together a sales campaign, as long as I know the niche, I'll put together my offer and not even know what my product will be yet. If you're not following what I mean, I'll try and show you.

Say, for instance I'm trying to sale memberships to WA. There are a lot of other folks doing the same. So, what would get someone to join through me rather than someone else? I may put together an offer like this; When you join through my link, I'll also include;

1. An Hour one-on-one session to get off on the right foot
2. An eBook on 'How to Choose the Right Niche For You'
3. And throw in a copy of Tony Robbins book, "Money; Master the Gaime"

Now, all of a sudden, it feels like they're getting more value for their money. And these are items that cost me very little, but well worth a recurring income from their membership.

Now, this is just an example, but you see what I'm getting at. You need to build an offer that will add value to your product/service, and/or a perceived value for them.

Hope this helps in your journey, and if anyone would like to discuss this more, feel free to contact me.
