Surprising result from sharing with Google
I have started looking at using campaigns to promote my site. I am not great with Facebook as it is just all my friends and family and i wanted to reach out to people I don't know. So I looked into installing a social media plugin. Then decided to share my wealthy affiliate review with my google + account.
Now considering I haven't used google + much and need to learn how to increase my followers more. I just shared my page to see if it worked. There was a surprising development.
3 days later I just decided to type one of my Keywords into google to see what was coming up and there it was. On the first page of Google results was not my site but the post I shared on google + was being referenced by google. Straight after the adverts.
Well, didn't think I could get a post on the first page so quick! Has anyone else noticed this? I know it's not a proper page 1 listing but it has definitely given my site some visability. Be interesting to see if I get any clicks off it.

Sorry...it's showing it because you are logged in. The browser will include the results of your own Google+ posts. You can identify them by the little picture next to them.
You need to do a search in Incognito mode on Google to get the real results. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news!
OK so I don't want to rain on your parade here, but have you done the search in incognito or privacy mode. Google will return personalized results that don't necessarily show up for other people.
Well that makes more sense lol
We live and learn, now to get back to work. At least I know to do all my searches on incognito now.
