It is driving me nuts!!! I have spent hours searching through the themes when I am building websites. I find a theme that I like and write down the name, then I have to scroll

There are two tools available to make finding themes easier.

Click on the "Add New" button on the Themes page (#1 below)

In the search box (#2 below), start typing the name of the theme. Only those themes matching the initial characters of the name will be displayed. By the time you've typed in the whole name, that one will be the only one displayed.

When you click on the "Feature Filter" button (#3 below), only those themes that match your selected criteria will be displayed.

There's a search box and a theme filter

Why is there no search function on the theme selection page?

One of my sites here at WA is for starting a consulting business for improving communications. I am pondering if it is best to go it alone, or should I bring on help, or should

I've always heard that partnerships do not work. I did not believe it or understand why until I tried it. Partnerships are very difficult and I would caution you.

Thanks. I look for advice in the field of knowledge that others offer. Thank you again.

Hi googs

This is truly a question that is spinning in my head as well and to get a straight answer is a challenging task.

I do as well have a page with plans and goals that most likely will require more knowledge and manhours than one man can acheive.

Since I am a beginner in the game my choice will be to get more knowledge through the sertification and keep my mind open for partners.

My idea is to join with others that can write content in the field i do not know about and share the income of the pages/posts the partner write.

This is however the first suggestion in my head and needs some fine tuning, but if you find someone that do not care about running the site (SEO etc) but love the writing and a niche that mach the page it might be a good mix.

It is good to hear that someone else has the same thoughts. I look at this site and others that have partnered up to better utilize resources.
I know every can go slow, learn as much as possible, but I just think it is more efficient to team up. Even if it is a group of people acting like a think tank.
The knowledge increases exponentially with each person that is added, but there comes a time when the cart has too many wheels, lol.
Thanks for the info.

How do I get affiliate link banners in my posts? I am able to put affiliate links on words in my post, but I have not yet figured out or found the training that shows me how to

1. While you are on a page that you are editing (creating) you will see the words "Visual" and "Text" up in the right top of your post.

2. Go click on the airplane,

3. Choose the banner you want, and highlight the code that is under it,

4. Copy it, and come back to the post you are editing.

5. Click on the word "Text" and all code will come up on the page.
6. Scroll to the bottom (in this case) and put the cursor after the last code text.

7. Then choose the "control" (ctrl) key and the "V". That will past it on your document.

Last, Click on the word "Visual."

Scroll to the bottom and you should see the banner.

This is actually easy, but looks like a lot to remember.

Ernie.

Thank you for the list.

Here's a video for you

Thank you. I will watch it.

Wow, John beat me to it. As he says.

This may help:

Thank you. I will watch it and apply it.

No probs, hope it helps :-)
