Coaching Online Entrepreneurs - The Great WA Leverage

I was supposed to post this in my MMO niche blog but I decided to just post it here so that other members would benefit from this, too.

Unless you are a person who ONLY care about how much you can make, we all feel responsible for every person we convince his or her life is going to change with an online income opportunity.

I find this true in the fields of network marketing, online work from home programs, and Internet marketing particularly "make money online" niche.

Recruiting More Stress

When I was in network marketing, I always felt compelled to lead the person I have recruited into break even and profit mode or else, I will fail in my goal of being a success coach.

And that puts me in a very stressful situation, dealing with either unresponsive recruits, or overly excited recruits.

Both of them, give so much stress. I just concealed it.

There were times when I have to stay awake until 3:00 AM here in the Philippines, to make sure that when my newly recruited member in the USA have someone to ask if she has a question.

Sometimes I was asked, but there were many times I have waited for nothing.

That went on until I realized it was not the lifestyle I dreamed of.

I dreamed of freedom lifestyle, attracted to the advertisement I saw where a person lie in a beach with his laptop computer sipping coconut juice.

But it was the opposite I got.

There were times I just wanted to automate all the process, like the way Stone Evans do with his Plug-In Profit Site. But that person is one of the gurus I despise, for being so detached with the welfare of their referrals with them being left to just deal with autoresponders.

My Hate Became My Passion

I hate it when there's no one responding on the other side except for an autoresponder. I guess, the marketer have gone so big he only wants to talk PERSONALLY with fellow six figure earners only and leave all newbies to deal with autoresponders only.

So, the thing that I hated with them, became my ULTIMATE goal of making a difference.

I wanted to deal PERSONALLY with all my referrals as much as I can.

Little did I know that the goal is so destructive, both in business growth and in health.

The more referrals I have in my network marketing business, the busier I get as a coach. I wanted to make sure I lead them to success. I wanted to make sure they get good results!

And I wanted to "under promise but over deliver"!

Real hard.

It would have been easier if my niche was different, like helping men suffering with hair loss. For in that niche, all I have to do is "promise", and just let the product "deliver" the results.

But in the make money online niche, every sale you make entails responsibility that's ten times larger than your commission. Your customer must see results.

As I have said, it would have been easier if I am a crook who never care whether my referrals get the promised result or not, never caring as long as got I my commissions.

(Plenty of them out there, but not me)

Realizing the personal trouble I'm creating with myself, I get beholden with "ready made systems".

Ready Made Systems

Systems where customers can implement by themselves, or if they want to ask something, they can just browse the posted resources like videos, articles, and tutorials.

Also, systems with Facebook groups or Live Chat feature, wherein they can ask a company staff or other members.

You know, the word "leverage" originating from the word "lever"...

...that instead of manually lifting an object with your hands, you use a lever to make the job of lifting easier.

And I found it here in Wealthy Affiliate!

  • You can leverage Kyle and his lessons
  • You can leverage the expertise of our fellow members here
  • Leverage our Live Chat
  • Leverage me! (and vice versa)

I didn't say this system of leverage would render me lazy now, but at least, I will no longer a burdened coach trying to play the role of a "call center" and at the same time a webmaster of my sites.

For people in the same niche I'm in, in the MMO niche.. and for people with the same heart I have (caring for referrals), I hope you get what I mean.

There's an immense leverage here!

I understand what you mean, and feel the same, Coach Gom! Back in October, I had joined something which I had some doubts about ... and my gut said "No," but I went ahead. I called people, some friends, and a couple said they would join with me. I decided to terminate that membership and called each and every person telling them NOT to join because it was not "on the level," as I had suspected. Caring about others is VERY important, and I see that you are not only a coach, but a caring person! Thanks for the post!! : )

Oh, that's admirable. Keep that good caring attitude up. :)

That's a very good point that can save lives in the future... Thanks for this angle :)

Excellent approach. Thank you for sharing.

You are right Gomer, let's use the power of leverage.

You got the experience man! WA is the best. I stick here.

Great information, Gomer. Thanks for sharing. It really hit home as I am working on initial WA launch site.

Very good information. This will help people to understand the art of leveraging. We could not do everything as we are all alone except if you have personnel who will do the job. Thank you.

Yes. That's the word. Leverage.

It is call duplication. All the training we need to succeed is here.

A alway reply personally to anyone who accepts my invitation. Most of the time, they never respond and never build their first website. You can invite and encourage but you can't make them do the work.

We are in the same boat as I want my customers to get value for their money. I would rather give than take. Most of the internet is take but not give value. The so called entrepreneur on the net is a promoter not a teacher or leader.

Tom.

I think you have it right, Gomer:) You can't do everything. So, it's wise to pick your battles! I do respect you, though, for being more than willing to help your new recruits navigate around while they found their way in. For newbies, it can be extremely overwhelming and confusing. Believe me, I'm still overwhelmed and confused, and I'm not a newbie anymore! I guess that everyone learns at their own pace:)
Blessings:)
Suzi

And that's the extreme good of what we have here. Oftentimes, newbies get overwhelmed. But it's okay, compared to other platforms where the newbies complain they're not receiving the value they expect.

Here, we under promise, but over deliver. :)
