Where do I go to find the header.php file so I can copy it to my child theme?

There's a plugin that can help with this

mine was a little more obscure ..
But, Yes .. Websites/Appearance/Theme Edit ...
and if your theme is in a Child Theme category, you might see something like:
[This child theme inherits templates from a parent theme .. and the (name of the parent theme) ]
Click on the Parent Theme name, and the full theme configuration pages will appear below, and you can find "Header.php"

Some themes are more complicated than others

Good Luck

Joe

Right yeah get that but how do I copy that php file to my child theme so I can make changes?

Just copy and paste? lol

You are in your Child Theme .. just edit it as desired, and cl8ck Update .. or Save Changes .. or whatever seems appropriate.

Take a look at this screen shot for help. Go into your dashboard, appearance, edit. On the far right you should look for header and click on that. The screen shot will show where you should place your information

I'm working on developing a product for my all natural health niche. But I'm not trying to point people towards supplements or all the fancy stuff that becoming healthy is abou

You may have to set up your own affiliate program and have affiliates promoting your product. It can be hard to be a single site focusing on a single product, especially if you are not well known in that vertical. You may need to establish your credibility as an expert on that subject before you move forward with the product.

Have an opt-in email list and send out a weekly newsletter talking about a particular subject. Each newsletter should be different and you can even create a series: all about supplements, all about seasonal allergies, all about exercise, etc. Each month can be about one series

Best of luck on your journey to success!

Health supplement products, exercise videos, and programs, health books. Look in Clickbank marketplace under the health category for affiliate products. Udemy classes as an affiliate of Udemy.

Maybe try and produce your own class or product that you can sell.

I would love to come to you with a business proposition. But I'll keep it short for now. How would you feel about me looking into making T-Shirts for WA? Nothing sells like hol

I rarely wear t shirts, so I would not be interested in buying one.

I would recommend that you talk to Kyle and/or Carson to get permission to use the WA name on the t-shirts or any other merchandise.

As owners of the company, they decide on what products their name can be used.

Can I look into creating t-shirts?

Authoring & Writing Content
Updated

Ok. So I'm terrible at writing content and I know it's obviously a big part of content marketing so I won't just stop doing articles but is it worth me hiring someone to help b

Hope you find the help you are seeking.

If you can afford it I would hire some help for your content. I actually did a training on this at:

Hi - I occasionally write for the UK version of Textbroker (Level 4), so it was interesting to see how it actually works from the client's point of view when placing their order.

Cool. How do you like writing there?

Hi - they seem a lot more professional than some other writing agencies I have worked for. They randomly check some of the articles to ensure that you are keeping up to the level you have been awarded, and payment is always on time. I only really use them if I don't have any private client's work available.

When we need to start hiring a writer, we will go the route that Jerry Huang has suggested and done extensive training on.
Nathalie has the link, below.
Best of luck and do let us know how it goes for you please.

Fiiver is a good place to start and I know a few members who can afford content writers and have great content within several of their websites.

Hey Golden,

Great question!

Look at Jerry's training on the subject... Nathalie

Yeah I seen that thanks Nathalie!

My pleasure, Golden! :-)

Nathalie

If you have the funds then I would hire, this frees up you time for other things like promoting the content and building relationships. If I had the funds I would certainly hire too...

Yeah I'm thinking I'll try at least one to see how it turns out

Worth a try for sure :)

Hi, I am terrible at writing content and it takes me forever. I think it will become necessary to hire at some point anyway if we wanna scale our business. I started buying gigs on Fiverr at 5$ + 2$ the quality was to low then tried a 10$ + 2$ a cupel of times and now I think I have found a writer which is acceptable. When my website is starting to earning some money I will use them more and also hire better writers.

@DianeScorpio That's one thing too is I don't mind improving on what someone writes for me, in fact, I think I'm pretty good at doing that lol but it's just coming up with the initial 1000 words that I struggle with.

Hi - if your budget is only "a couple of bucks" per 1000 words, then you may not get quality content. You can look at hiring writers from Fiverr, iWriter and Freelancer.com, but you get what you pay for. Having said that, apparently, Phillipino writers are said to be quite accomplished at a cheap price.

It may be "spun" content, where an already written article has its words changed, or you may get something completely copied and pasted, so you need to have the resources to be able to check it.

I am a freelance writer and proofreader, and in the early days, I worked for all of the above agencies. It was not a pleasant experience. The pay is incredibly low, clients would reject work and then publish it anyway, and the competition is very fierce.

I'd certainly be more willing to pay for quality over quantity

Absolutely not in my honest opinion. I was dreadful and writing content and copy, then decided to learn it and its one of the better decisions I have made, given that only YOU can write with the passion about your subject

Plus what you spend can go on something else for your education

Yeah I'm with that decisions more than anything else I just know I'm sticking with this program and that seems to be what most if not all accomplished companies have writers writing for them.

Learn copywriting and you earn good money

I just saw Jay take a screenshot of host gator and use the picture on his website how is that not an infringement? there are lots of images I would love to just take a screensh

A couple of people have said it;s ok to take a screenshot and use that. I'd check that. It would be like taking a screenshot of a copyright photo and using that.
Ian

Here are some rules and guidelines and some sites to use

just don't use any image from google people place pic there just so they can get people in trouble, scream shot you can use just give credit to the place where you take it, but better is to get it from safe places like you say unsplash or others.

Generally -- copyright belongs to the originator / author of any material ... usually wise to obtain prior to use authorization from the originator ... and Phil has given you a good discussion of it ...

all the best, cheerio ... :)

Phil has a good answer.

A screenshot you take yourself from a website for illustrative purposes is probably ok.

An image you download from a Google search isn't. Although the chances of your being sued are low, they are not zero.

There are many free image download sites. Use them or pay through Pixel Studio or one of the others.

I can give you a list of several free sites if you want.

Thanks, Phil and it's ok I have the list as well
