Hey Laura,
When you use the Add Media button and select the image, there is an alignment dropdown on the right hand side. Select alignment to be left or right (depending on where you want the text to wrap). That should do the trick.

Just delete the image out. Did that just about cover all you had to ask? If you put in the content first, then add media, the process is fairly simple. I had trouble in the beginning because I was trying to write around the picture.

My pages won't appear in visual mode in WP even after doing what is explained below. Can some one help?
I've seen this a couple of times recently. First and foremost, click on Users and the Profile you're logged in as and check that the "Visual Editor [ ] Disable the visual editor when writing" isn't ticked. Then you should first clear your browser cache, log out of your site, quit the browser, reboot and log back in. If that doesn't fix it then you should clear your entire browsing history including deleting all cookies. I've also seen a lot of Members suffering from malware such as Delta Search, etc. You might also need to run some anti-virus and cleaner programs, there's an excellent list of free options at http://www.lbc.co.uk/download-these-free-programs-12054 :) Rich.
That happend to me a couple of days ago. I spent hrs trying to fix it. Rich told me that it was something to do with the visual and text. I will try and retrieve the info for you

Hi "goingforgold"! Politics are serious issues. It's important to raise the political awareness but I don't think that people that are looking for this kind of information would make good potential buyers. Weight loss I'd say is easier to sell and is just as important issue.. lol But there are so much information on the weight loss out there already I would guess. Crocheting is quite a narrow niche indeed, but there are still some fanatics out there and beginners as well that might need some input. I would say pick one of them- make a start and learn as you go and maybe some day you will come up with another idea about a niche. But then it will be easier to get it going! best of luck!
True, on the political side I was looking more at providing affiliates, news sites, sites where people can find books, dvds, cds, bumper stickers, clothing-all the stuff activist want and need. I have put that on the back burner. I'm focusing on the crochet. I do think this will be a good market--I intend to sell homemade articles on the site along with info and affiliates pertaining to crocheting. I want to help revive this almost lost art. I think this will be a way to do it.
I wouldn`t touch politics with a 10 food pole lol. Just think about how often you would have to update and revise to stay relevant. I wouldn`t try health(too general) but I`m trying to crack into the weight loss niche at the moment- it`s slow going-1 month in my best keyword is on the fourth page. Can`t say I know much about chrochet but that might be a good thing. If it was too popular, you would have a lot of competition. Just have a plan for monitization later whatever you do.
I will eventually get my political website up and running. It truly is my passion. Crocheting is my favorite hobby and I do think if I have a strong website that it will generate $. So far so good. Thanks for the input.
