I am promoting WA, I haven't yet seen any themes that seem appropriate, I have also started reading the different info on the themes, and am overwhelming myself. Please advise.
Hello,
I did the the same thing... I tried to select the perfect theme. In reality there isn't one (at least in my opinion). But as other experienced members have mentioned... you can tweak as you go. I would select what you like and run with it. Best of luck.

Themes can be overwhelming, as they all have their own attributes and demons. Set up a dummy site with the same theme, so you can play around with it and experiment. don't use any of your good content , just say anything that comes to mind but still original. Once you figured out one element, implement it on your niche site. this way, if you don't get with the theme you can change the theme on the dummy site and see how it reacts to to the changes. Hope this helps, Good luck, Allen.
I searched for ones that came close to my niche suggestion and then picked one. Have adjusted and changed to suit my taste
Pick one, any one because chances are whatever you pick you will want to Change it several times
Take a look at other members who are promoting WA and see the theme that they are using. They are all personalized. There are many that are appropriate and that will work for you. Just dive in and start setting one up because you can always change a theme that does not work out for you. Many of us have changed themes frequently.
Okay thanks, I knew I must be complicating things, because I have been attempting to do things right, or perfect , thus creating Paralysis, of Analysis. Thank you so much for the suggestion, and the support I appreciate you.

Am I to pick a theme I like, or must it match my site?

Just go through the themes that are available, pick something you like and then personalise it to your liking.
One important thing to look for in a theme, is to make sure it is a "responsive" theme. This will allow it to be viewed on the PC as well as Mobile Devices, like Smart Phones, Tablets and iPads.
Remember the KISS principal, Keep It Sweet and Simple
I am going to use the Keep It Sweet and Simple for KISS method. I had an old outdated phrase. I agree the "responsive" feature is really important with so many devices now where people are connecting.
