Am I a Nerd?
Just a quickie family. I was researching something for an article this morning. I went to our fiend, Mr. Google and started to enter my query which consisted of the number 3 followed by some text. Silly sausage fingers of mine hit enter after typing 3 and guess what popped up on the results page, a link to Google.
Perturbed at my sausage fingers, but more than a little curious, I began searching random numbers expressed 1 or 17 or 7 or . . . you get the drift. Most of the numbers I entered returned a link to Google, usually somewhere in the top ten.
I played with this new numbers game for quite some time. So I ask, am I a nerd? I began to wonder, if Google doesn't know the answer, does it point you back to itself? Now, maybe I'm simple minded, but the more I did it, the more amused I got. I stopped when I realized that like a dog, I was chasing my tail and got even more amused. No wonder a dog chases its tail.
Transparency
I just had to post this little bit of my nerdness. I don't like to hide behind a curtain. I would rather be a bit transparent so that my friends and audience knows that there is a real person on the other side of the internet.
Ok, enough. Time to get back to work. This time I will make sure that Mr. Sausage Fingers doesn't get a bug up his casing.

I think nerds are ok, Greg :) I wouldn't mind being called a nerd, freak or whatever. When you think about it, most geniuses were something like that. Better than to be part of the herd.
