I tried that but the affiliate post look different, cant find the niche I am thinking about. I went on to building the website and have no clue how to install into website
Gale, don't be overwhelmed by the process here, just stick to the plan, do one lesson at a time, move on to the next lesson once you have completely understood the current one. If there is something you don't understand, ask - there are people just waiting to jump in and help you.
Keep your target in the cross-hairs, but don't try to jump ahead too soon. You cannot climb a ladder by missing a few rungs. The way to the top is one rung at a time.
Slow down, catch your breath, wait till things come into focus then take the next step. I have seen many people get amazing results here by sticking to the course and taking one step at a time, but I have also seen a lot of people leave empty handed, because they would skip a few lessons, or try to take shortcuts.
In answer to your question, No, you don't need to leave WA, there are a lot of tutorials about setting up Amazon affiliates, you will get to them, but first, start with the basics and become proficient at that.

Are you trying to get an affiliate relationship with Amazon?
Just open a new tab in your browser for Amazon - leaving your WA window open - that's what I do (if that is what you were asking).
Don't forget that you can place your questions up at the top of any page; that way the question will be visible to the WA community as well - there are a lot of other people willing to help out too - I will still be able to see your questions and help you as best I can - and I always will.

No problem let me see if i can help get you in the right direction ( I am about to go to sleep so wont be able to answer you for a few hours). First off, if you have not actually picked a niche I would def. back track and spend some time picking one that you really like. It doesn't have to be something on amazon, there are hundreds of affiliate programs out there that you can use to promote stuff. Once you get that you might want to go back and make a new website if it isnt relevant to your niche. As for your current website, have you been following the lessons in order? Kyle's videos do a pretty good job of showing you the basic maneuvering through posting and such.

the easiest way to get into your site I think is to click on the blue build my website tab on the left, then just click on the log me in button next to the site you want to access (as a free member you can have two sites at any given time, but you can always delete a domain and make a new one if you don't like an idea).
The wordpress dashboard can be somewhat overwhelming if you arent' used to it so start with the basics of creating pages and posts. If you follow the certification course you will set up some plugins, and create three base pages to get you started. Have you attempted this process yet? If so what did you have problems doing. As you encounter a problem I would ask a question for that specific problem so that you can get an answer quickly and get moving along.
You can also try searching for the topic of your question in the search bar at the top of the screen. It will help you locate tutorials and answers very quickly.
Once you are able to get through the ten initial lessons it might be worth checking out https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/training/wordpress-dashboard-tutorial-themes its a three part mini tutorial on some of the options in wordpress though it might look a little different because wordpress updated.
