I love affiliate marketing and the passive income it generates!

My wife and I took a long weekend over the Fourth of July and headed into forests of Connecticut for a little rest and relaxation. Mostly to get away from the house and daily routine.

It was a few days of no email, content research or development, and the other odds and ends associated with an affiliate marketing business.

Now, I am back at it.

Going through the thousands of emails that accumulated while gone.

It is nice, to say the least, to see notices of sales and commissions paid among the emails. Payoffs from previous work.

Much can be said about a laptop lifestyle.

If I had a laptop, I would have been tempted to bring it along on our weekend.

I seriously doubt that would have gone over well with my better half. Plus, it is not really "getting away" from it all when dragging along a laptop. The temptation to "peek" at work would be too great.

Success is not only measured by the size of the commission check, but by enjoying the rewards of a profitable online business.

When it's time to recharge our self "battery", just leave our laptop aside for a while and focus on enjoying yourself! That's life! wish you all the best!

You are right -- and it was good that you didn't take a laptop. You would have missed part of the important time spent not working on your site. That's a time to recharge your energy.

The best part of all of this is you took a time off and had a great weekend.

I am sure playing catch up may have been a task at hand.

Everybody deserves a little time away...without the laptop or Ipad. Keep the phone handy for emergencies only.
