Haste Makes Waste

I am guilty.

So are many others who are in a rush to make money onlline.

It's hard not to get ahead of ourselves.

So I am reminding myself again for the umpteenth time to plan my work, do it right the first time.

Haste makes waste.

Haste also creates poverty. Wasted resources, wasted money.

What causes us to be in a hurry?

I have heard laziness, greed, desire for instant gratification, and lack of knowledge.

Scammers, criminals, and unethical marketers prey on people displaying these characteristics. There are so many examples of this in the make money online (MMO) niche.

How to Avoid Being Hasty

Identify your goals and the make a plan to achieve your goals.

Plan, plan, and plan some more.

Gary had a great blog post recently about weekly planning. https://my.wealthyaffiliate.co...

And if circumstances change, revise your plan.

Enjoy your week!

Glen

So true. Haste actually costs time by fixing mistakes, unless you're a guru or a genius and I certainly was not born with those gifts!!!

Me either, Brad. I hate having to go back and fix things just because I was in a hurry.

I have done that too many times Glen and now after all these years, it's about time I learn.

Unfortunately, I just did it recently. Thus, the post.

Great advice

Thanks, Barbara.

Good advice...love the quote. Thanks. Debbie

You're welcome, Debbie. Being a cat owner and former dog owner, I understand the need to go fast when it comes to fleas. :)

Hi Glen, I agree.

I've always been a planner for everything in my life. It comes second nature and it's really handy with work that needs to be done on my website.

That's a great skill to have, Patsy!

Totally agree Glen. Proper planning is the better choice.
Jerome

You are very welcome, Susan.

Will always happen when time is tight Glen!

For sure! I remember the high pressure environment in my last job. I could feel the adrenaline rush as soon as I saw my office building in the morning.

Nice post Glen.......we all want things to go fast these days. Always good to read articles like yours.

Wayne

Thanks so much Wayne. I appreciate the kind words.

Good reminder! Thanks Glen.

Thanks for the reminder, Glen!

You are welcome, Suzi. I should tape the quote to my monitor.
