Finding Google SERP Keywords
Looking for keyword to use?
TIP: Look at Google Ads on search engine results pages (SERP).
Google lists ads at the top of their SERP.
For example, I searched Google for "website hosting." The SERP shows:
Google Adwords ads take the top 4 positions (based on keywords and bid price). I have highlighted my search term words in yellow. I highlighted other words in brown that I think are the advertisers' keywords.
It appears that other than my search term, keywords include the year, free, top 10, 15 best and web hosting. Lists (15 best, 10, etc) appear to do well with Google search.
I used Semrush for additional keyword research on the "websitehostingbest10 url. Here is the Semrush keyword extract :
The extract shows the paid search traffic (Google Adwords). Paid ads generates the most traffic for webhostingbest10.
So the next time you are struggling for keywords in your niche, check out Google ads.
