Content Struggles
Finally!
I finished a blog post about making homemade dog food for my rescue dog.
I don't know why it took several weeks to put this together.
It is only about 1,000 words.
I cannot say:
- life got in the way
- I was on vacation
- I was distracted
- I am a newbie doing this.
I use an outline to draft posts and articles.
This article took extra research because nutrition can be complex with terms like macro- and micro-nutrients, etc.
But it tooks hours and hours over a 3 week period to put it all together.
So, yes developing content can take time. But it is not just the writing.
There are graphics and images to find. Infographics to create. (I created an infographic for this blog post. It took about 3 hours to create.)
Hopefully, the next one will go faster.
Cheers!

Thanks for commenting, Claudette! Yep, some take way too much time while others flow easily.
Hi Glen
Is the photo of the dog your rescue dog
I have watched on YouTube Amazing stories with rescue Dogs
I enjoyed your Post

David
Thanks, David. The white dog is not my rescue dog. I have attached a picture of my rescue dog.
I have been noticing the same Glen... however I suppose the more you do it the more efficient you become..
Great post and I’m glad you shared it..
I agree that I have, as most do, become more efficient over time and volume. It seems this post just took so long to complete. I guess it was an exception. At least I hope it was an exception and not the new norm.
Hi Glen,
If you are going to have quality, it takes longer. I have found once you finish one in a certain area, the next usually will go faster.
Thanks for sharing.

Hey Glen-at least you are attempting it. Those things are still on my “to-do” list!

Hi Glen, don't worry, I am not very fast at content either. I think a lot struggle. I have been told though over time you develop your own flow to writing and it gets easier.

Thanks, Mary. I have been doing this long enough not to worry. But it is frustrating at times. I believe it happens to many of us on occasion.
Hi, Glen.
I run into this all the time and fully agree that sometimes it just takes longer than prescribed.
The end result though is that I'm glad I spent the time because the end product is relevant and blends nicely with the other content in a cohesive way.
Nice to hear from you again.
Cheers,
Paul.
I have adopted a new approach by talking into a recorder. Speaking for me is so much easier than thinking about it and then having to put it down on paper. Too many thoughts for me, but when I ad lib from the top of my head it seems to roll off my tongue a whole lot better. I find it flows smoother without having to think too much.
