My Affiliate Link Sharing Strategy. How to use Wealthy Affiliate (WA) to Attract New Referrals
Wealthy Affiliate pushes out great new content every day. Many share their successes and some failures as well. How can we use this in our Affiliate Marketing Strategies?
People Thrive On Others Successes
Anybody who is looking for success in the online and affiliate marketing world loves to read about the successes of others. Especially when it gives real life proof of success.
If your honest with yourself you are going to admit that you want to join programs where you see people are having success. Most Guru marketers will show success in the form of testimonials, videos, and images on their sales pages.
My favorite way is to read actual posts here on how people are succeeding. And what a perfect sales tool that is.
Selling Without Selling
When people read these success stories they want to join and be a part of something that is working. It's too often we are lured into these programs that in the end are really just seminars cut up into tiny videos and sold as a program. Who here has seen that?

But when you see real life proof over and over again from a group of people that share freely it is very encouraging and gives hope.
My WA No Selling Strategy
The beautiful thing about Wealthy Affiliate is every ones posts and public training can be shared and they have an affiliate link that you can use to share it.
What does that mean?
Well anytime you share the content here on wealthy affiliate using your affiliate link and someone chooses to sign up you get the referral.
How Beutiful is that?
Here's an example:
I love Eddy's Success Posts. They allow me to share great success with others. Above you can see Eddy's recent post on how he earned 10K in one month. How many here would like to be earning 10k a month?

I share these successes on social media sites and to my emails lists. I don't sell I just tell them to see proof of someones success.
Yesterday I shared one link with my email list.
( Yes, I use email marketing I shared how I do that in this post: Integrate Your Email Sequences with Wealthy Affiliate ).
The email was really short it was titled:
Proof You Can Build A Sustainable Online Business - 10K A Month - Nothing To Buy Just The Proof...
In the email I said:
"Hey It's Glen,
I just wanted to share some proof of a real sustainable online home business. I'm not trying to sell you anything I just want you to see that it is possible.
Enjoy,
Glen Barnhardt".
Short Sweet and Simple and No Selling Just Sharing!
The link pointed to Eddy's superb post on how he made 10K in one month.
What Was the Results
73 Unique Visits and 4 new Referrals.
This was just one simple share. If you share to all the other things I mentioned it will compound.
Many have asked how quickly can I recoup my Premium membership fees. Well I shared the truth about that here:

BUT....
If you use this method to springboard your business you can easily recoup your membership fees each month.
Those were just referals but here is an image of a calculator here on WA that shows potential income by referals. It is common to get 12% upgrades from people you refer.

Glen, that is great, actionable and insightful info.
AWOL has the carrot and the stick teaser whiteboard videos which only entice their viewers to go to the next level of payment for more of the same low budget whiteboard videos peddled as proprietary programs.
I agree 100% with your take on the beauty of WA and the methods you've outlined.

Great email example! That helps put your specific strategies into perspective.
I am a #digitaljunkie. I am guilty of signing up for the free "seminar" courses and to people's email lists to see how they market to me. And I DISLIKE every email that is trying to sell me on their course or their training membership area.
So, I naturally LOVE your simple email. I am personally late to the email marketing inclusion strategy but I know I need to have a sequence plan. And I don't want to sell any in every email. I really want to provide information (be informative) and recommend solutions where appropriate.
So thanks for the clear tip. I'm totally going to repurpose your strategy in my own way.

I've been wanting to do this since 2013, but didn't know how since one cannot riddle one's websites with Affiliate Links referring back to WA all the time.
Now I need to set up the infrastructure to create an email list as I don't have one - I always feel I would be spamming my contacts over the years with info. So I've always steered away from creating an email list.
I have so many business cards I've collected from people whom I've met and spoken to, since 2010, and not known how to create a proper, meaningful and quality email list.
Any ideas for me on this?
I really like your style of short and simple and that appeals to me. I'd like to incorporate that into my email shots as well so that people aren't inundated with information immediately.
Hi Top Achiever, I don't know your name so I can't be personal.. lol But if you are not using email marketing you are leaving money on the table.
You don't have to spam your list to use email marketing. I offer training and it all leads back here to WA. I do posts here about topics that will help in the building of their business and I point back to those post via my emails auto responders.
You do realize that it takes at least 7 exposures and some time to build trust with the people before they will try the opportunity.
Well having a list and not being spammy builds that trust.
And by putting your valuable content here on WA in the form of posts you can send them here to read your content and the platform sells itself. No spamming, No Selling.

Does the affiliate link just go into the blog? EG. Can I place it somewhere just Like Kyle showed us for our own sites?
I use the affiliate link on my blog and in emails. It's the perfect way to get people to the platform. They will see how great it is, just by landing there.
