Will someone please help me select a starter niche that will generate nominal money rapidly to start off, as I research out long term niche(s)?

Unfortunately there is no quick fix to making money
It takes skills and loads of hard work and if you start the training, you will see if this is something you will enjoy long term

What Vicki said is correct.
You could start promoting WA and then spread the word to everyone you know. Not in a pushy fashion, but share your excitement that might arouse their curiosity. If you have a good Social media network you could share your posts/info there were allowed.
The other option would be spending on advertising to bring in traffic, but that requires an investment and you should kinda know what you are doing there to make it worthwhile.
Otherwise its building your foundation and your website according to the training and in time you'll get organic, free traffic coming to your website.
