Let Me Tell You About Flight School
It Was Intense!
I attended Navy flight school at Milton Field, Florida, Waaayyy back in the early 1980s, for a couple of years. It was one of the most intense and stressful times of my life. Yes, I graduated and got my Wings of Gold. A lot of people who tried didn't.
I wasn't a Maverick type hot dog (Top Gun movie). Nobody was. In fact, that wasn't allowed. Everything was planned and scheduled and repetitious, for safety reasons as well as to instill the proper procedures into our thick skulls.
The Navy had learned long ago that standardization of procedures and repetition was the BEST way to graduate quality pilots and navigators, and it was also the most cost-effective way to spit trained aviators out the end of the training program.
Standardization, repetition, and (the intense part) rapid escalation of training was the Navy's way of training it's aviators. You had to keep up or get cut.
There was a lot to learn and not much time to learn it. If you were married, your family life suffered. My wife almost left me, but lucky for me I graduated before she made up her mind.
My Point Is...
In some ways WA is a lot like flight school, but it's self-imposed. The training and procedures for success are in place. The system works, but we have to do our part, which is push ourselves through the program.
Here's a related link from my website that expands on the subject.
If we want success, we have to get INTENSE!
Am I right?

Hi Grant,
While I was never in military aviation, I have been in civil aviation from after high school to this very day.
My flight training back then in the '60s was a lot more leisurely than the military, that's for sure. But you still had to do the work or you couldn't get your licenses or ratings.
Then years later I did work with military aviators on Wake Island in a civilian compacity so what you are saying about flight training and Wealthy Affiliate is true. You have to do the work and stay connected to your training subject.
The training at WA will lead to success, that is a proven fact.
