I'm Smiling, But I'm Not Sure Why!
For about the past month I have been taking care of things other than my websites. We like to say that life happens, and life had been happening for me too. I've traveled to Vancouver, WA to see my oldest son and his family. Turned out that they had their internet blocked because they didn't want their kids looking at bad sites.
It also turned out that I couldn't look an any sites except the ones that they had allowed, which were kid sites. I asked then to unblock so I could work, but it didn't happen. I don't blame them, they both work and are busy, so they didn't get around to it. I lost about 10 days there.
I came home from that trip, and about 3 weeks later went to Homer, Alaska for my grandson's high school graduation. Internet access there was spotty too, and I knew it would be from a former trip, so I didn't even try to work. We were there for 8 days.
I've been back about 4 days. It took most of that time to get over the jet lag (I"m old).
Also, my mind has been in some turmoil about where to go with my blog posts. I didn't seem to be getting any traction.
So today I finally looked at my analytics, and here's what I saw:
I've been trundling along with nothing happening for months, and suddenly, 2 days ago, something took off! I'm not sure which post or posts are being looked at, but boy am I encouraged!
Here's another look:
You can see that nothing was happening up until May 29. I expected the low traffic, because that's what I had when I was blogging much more regularly. Low traffic. Things were trending downward, then suddenly I get a spike in traffic!
I hope it's not an abberation. I hope that maybe I'm getting there finally with my website. Time and steady work will tell.

Barcelona is a very interesting city about a 1000 km away from where I live.
Here in the south on the Costa del Sol we are having the best season now. It is not too hot and the garden is full of flowers, lovely smells and birds concerts.

Awesome Grant!! So happy for you. Though sorry to hear about your forced break, I can imagine how frustrating that must have been for you after working so hard the last few months on the Super Affiliate Challenge. Pity you aren't in a kid/parenting niche. ;)

Here's how to check out which posts are generating all that traffic.
I find it easier to use the Google Analytics App which you can download from Google Play Store.
Click on the drop down menu on the left.
Click on Behaviour.
Click on Overview or All Pages
(Make sure your date settings are correct at the top by clicking on the date and choosing Day, Week, Month or Custom View)

First of all, congratulations on this!
If you have linked your analytics to your search console, you will be able to get info on which page(s) gained organic traffic. If not, just check search console, it should show search traffic.
Otherwise analytics also shows direct and social traffic.
