Affiliate Marketing On Social Media Is A Great Idea!
I'm A SWAGGER!
A lot of us know what that means. It doesn't mean that we're cocky or walk with an exaggerated gait. It means we are enrolled in Kyle's SWAG challenge.
At the end of every month we wait anxiously for Kyle to post the training tasks for the next month, even while we're trying to finish up the current month, and every month the new list is formidable! It's only been 2 months, and the amount of work has been staggering. Kyle is forcing us to take our businesses seriously!
The challenge is demanding, but it should be. How else are we going to break out of the crowd and get noticed by Google and by web surfers? Site visitors are our lifeblood. No visitors, no sales. (OK, use your imagination. The guy in the image is surfing, the ocean is the web.) Chuckle.
So, today the new list of tasks for April arrived. I was excited to open the PM and see what was up next, and even more excited when I saw the tasks. I was able to check off the first 6 tasks as complete, without having to do much at all! How cool is that?
- I already have a Facebook account. Check.
- I already have a Twitter account. Check.
- I already have a Google+ account. Check.
- I also have a Pinterest account, although there wasn't a task box for it.
Three tasks done!
Then, It was easy to click on Kyle's links to his social media accounts and follow him.
Check, check, and check. TA DA! Six tasks already complete!
Another satisfying task, that won't be complete until the end of the month, is to share all my posts on Facebook, Twitter, and Google+ I've been doing that for a few months now already, and also on Pinterest, so that won't be anything new.
Kyle is teaching us this month how to market on social media. It's an important lesson to learn, because it can speed things up. Relying on SEO only to generate traffic can take quite a bit of time, but adding our posts to social media can accelerate things considerably.
I Hope You Don't Think I'm Getting Cocky!
There may be dark days ahead.
I realize that I have to write 12 posts to my site, plus 4 posts to my WA blog (this is the first), plus lots of site comments and other things to do. Add to that the issue that I will be away from home for about 10 days during the middle of the month, and that increases the pressure considerably.
I've got to figure out a way to keep writing while I'm gone, or at least a way to do comments and such while I'm away. If I don't, I'll put myself into a hole that I won't be able to climb out of.
Right now I plan on doing a lot of research and maybe writing some posts on my tablet, which will be pretty slow.
I do plan to accomplish all the tasks, even though I'll be gone. We'll be watching grand kids, so who knows what my free time will be.
Everybody gets challenges, and I love my grand kids. Cathy and I can't wait to see them. They'll get first priority.
I hope all you other SWAGGERS are looking forward to the coming month. Good luck to you and to all WA members. I hope we all have a successful month!
Thanks for reading. I'm looking forward to your comments.
