My experience at Wealthy Affiliate - week 45 of 52
If I were to give my update of this week a different title to, I'd go for 'Content, content and more content'. Because that's what I have done this week: I have kept typing away to my heart content!
No more no less that usual
Mind you, I haven't published any more than my usual. But I am rediscovering the pleasure of writing. And, at risk of stating the obvious, I can see that when I write subjects I am really passionate about, or when I review a product that I strongly feel for, whether because I really like or really dislike, I am writing more in quantity and more fluently.
And I am starting seeing the benefits of it again. My Amazon sales are perking up again! Then again, we are approaching the festive season, and some viewers may want to put ahead of themselves by starting their Christmas shopping early.
Some things have to give way
Where I am a little disappointed is that I still haven't completed the setting up of my autoresponder. Nor have I have been able to start working on the forthcoming Black Friday event, both for WA and for other affiliate programs. And Bootcamp had to suffer too, as once again I am stuck at the point of putting together an appeasing video for my sign up page campaign.
Another aspect of my work I neglected is marketing and social media. And it is something that I don't want to neglect, as I firmly believe that through marketing - combined to good content - you end up earning passive income.
It's frustrating when things improve on one side, but they go down on the other side.
Next week
So, the plan for next week, ideally, would be to set up at least one autoresponder campaign. I must keep the writing momentum going, but I need to start picking up on marketing as well.
And as far as Bootcamp... well, again ideally, I would love to be able to complete it by the end of this year. WA referrals have now completely dried, even with me keeping promoting WA wholeheartedly. But then, am I trying to hard? Any advice is welcome. What was your turning point that helped you start getting referrals consistently and regularly enough? Did autoresponders help, or was it video productions? Please leave your comment below. Any suggestion is more than welcome!

Giulia- I am worst than you and I do think I need a lot of push from my own - if you can’t get breakthrough, it will always come down to your own - your second voice is reducing your productivity in WA.
I am equally as bad as I don’t have the right to comment about your status but I do stand at the perspective where you are and eagerly to push things over to ge line.
Hopefully I can get to 45 - weeks of the boot camp of what you have been through. As I intend to skip around the tutorial at times and also did not pay attention much in WA as I am being seen as a person that “do produce result still comment”- but happy to share your journey together.

Awww John, I'm glad that I'm not on my own in this journey of trial and errors. But I know one day we'll get there :)
There is so much to distract us from focusing on producing more content. But sometimes we end up realising how we lost the flavour for just doing straightforward writing :)
We can always find distractions. That much is true. Part of our jjob is to serve our readers first. If we do that, we'll be just fine!o
One step at a time! Really seems like you are doing a bit much or too many tasks at one time? So please finish ONE project, then go to the next...
Giulia, MULTI TASKING is scientifically NOT possible for humans! Its PROVEN !! Don't try to do something that your brain capacity can not comprehend! Really...I know we think we can, its just that our brain can not! Google it...and you will SEE...Thanks

The good thing is that you are continuing to add good quality content to your site which is the most important thing. Everything else is important but secondary to your content. Keep up the good work and I wish you well with the work that you have planned for the coming week.

Thank you ever so much Jerome. I've had to slow down in content production between September and octoer, but as I was writing less, I noticed that my sales and referrals have paid the price. Now I have started writing regularly again, I can see that things are changing for the better again. To confirm to me that yes, content is key!
