My experience at Wealthy Affiliate - week 38 of 52 part 2
As I am trying to deliver my weekly updates on my experience here and my progress so far, I can't help but wanting to label each week with a title that may sum up the whole seven days. Thie title that springs to my mind for this week could not be more apt, so here we go: 'I told myself so'.
I told myself so
As mentioned at the beginning of this week, I was most concerned that, having once again taken onboard extra work from my employer - extra earnings is the excuse - I might however compromise my ability to keep up with my online work here and on my websites.Well, my fears were not unfounded. For the last ten days, every free time I used to dedicate to my online business and to my learning here on WA has been taken by my electoral canvassing. Result? I haven't even managed to complete one post, let alone not even touching on any further Bootcamp lessons! It's a fine balance
The moral of the story is that, as we progress further in taking our websites forward and to affirm them stronger with search engines, we need to ask ourselves whether it is worth taking additional work from our 'day' job. Extra commitments will stop us from working on our online business, which, when still relatively new in a very competitive world, may affect our productivity hence our sales. We need to stop and ponder whether extra earnings from one source are worth sacrificing our online business, with the inevitable consequence of higher loss of earnings in the longer term. Even if already here for 18 months, the battle between carving time out of my daily commitments to dedicate to WA and to my online business is still ongoing. On a positive note
On a positive note, I have managed to increase my Amazon sales. And I guess that's because I have been active on both Facebook and Instagram- very good marketing platforms, both of them. And I have been credited, today, for my last training published here a few weeks ago - and for that, I must thank you all for your support and for showing an interest in that video. If you've missed it, check it out here:https://my.wealthyaffiliate.co...My achievements, however minuscule they may still be, are the motivation that leads me and pushes me through, in spite of all the pressure added by the ever present external factors.
On this note, I wish you all a serene and productive week ahead!

Giulia, in any business you have to set aside time, and for some, it is difficult because of full-time work commitments, but some of us are lucky. I think since I became a member of WA it has given me this additional strength and confidence, and that I was lucky enough to stumble onto something really great.
Hope you had a great weekend.
Mick
You say that Mick, and you are right. I have found new strengths which I never knew I had, and have gained in confidence like never before. This is a great place to be, as nobody judges you - this one of the next few weeks is yet again another little bump along the road, but I know with patience and perseverance I'll overcome it :)
Giulia, what it is with many who are coming into WA is that they don't have confidence in WA because of all the "BS" and "scam artists" they have come across, and I think many end up calling it a day here before they have given it a chance. Too many are still looking for that magic button and overnight success. Shame really, and that's from someone who hasn't made a cent yet.
Success is all based on our own perception. I am coming into my week 7, more like my week 5 after 2 weeks of issues and no progression, but now I am having problems keeping up with the content production but I am sure the further I go the easier it will become as I learn more and understand more.
Ok, shall I burst your babble? Yes it will get easier, but there are suggestions here that you should write at a speed of three posts / reviews per week. This will be possible if you are working full time on your new online venture. But if you are working only part time, babble burst: it will be difficult to keep up with the expected level and amount of content. But, don't ever allow that to get to you - stress over this is the most counter acting thing you can have to prevent you from writing in a serene state of mind :)
Hi, Guilia thanks for sharing, it can be an issue that we all face, many of us have busy lives and trying to pack everything in can be such a challenge at times.
How we spend our time is the biggest challenge, I find and it seems to be a real juggling act until we find that balance that actually works. I really appreciated your post.
Thanks Alex, this extra work I've been doing for the 2nd year running, but I question whether it's worth all the effort, at the risk of falling behind on my online business schedule. Well, I shall have to reconsider for next year.
